Amazing been coming here for years and still haven't got passed the mini mofo on the menu because it is soooo good! Lovely wee place with a fab, fun...

many veggie and vegan options for the burger. beautiful meal, just a bit expensive £18 for a burger and a mojito.) beautiful cocktails and a great selection of gins.

the food was good and the place was so sweet! not only that, it was only 5 minutes to foot from my place! the staff was also very friendly: will definitely come back to tonic View menu

Simply Amazing!!. I came on this site to write what was probably the best service I've had in Dundee and just can't believe the other reviews. I've been to Tonic on a number of occasions and it simply nails it every time for us consistently! It is a really busy place though and I suppose you can't please everybody all the time. DO GO!!

All hype. Visited Tonic on 20/11/11 after been told its a must only to discover its a must not. All four of us ordered and two of us were served ten minutes before the rest of our table. chips cold and tinned jalapenos on burger that were also cold) never again as the person who appeared to be in charge did not do enough to make sure that we would be returning customers. Would rather wait longer for good food served together very bad customer service, DONT GO!

Despite a slightly wet Sunday lunch time, we venture into the city in summer (it was sunny before! and made us on the way to use our Itison voucher. with a cheerful reception (vincent, do I think? we have been shown on our table and offered drinks, a short look at the menu and a quick selection of brunch has been chosen! in no time we received what can only be described as amazing! my baked eggs with hash brown, speck and black pudding with extra chorizo were for to die! also the egg beedict was there! a very tasty brunch with a glass prosecco and followed by a fab sky gin cocktail was just the ticket for both of us! and the sun came out! well made...read more View menu

avoid them like the plague when they are veggie! or how veggie food I went here last week, a slow Sunday, place was quite empty, I was indent to get a meat burger, but asked about the veggie option for a little lighter, and was said that they were sweetpatties wrapped in broth crumbs. Sounds nice. what I got was suspicious like a frozen birdseye sweetburger, in which did in 99% sure that was exactly what it was. good burger bakes, beautiful gitterfries, salat, drinks cheap and attentive service, but the bad excuse for a vegetarian meal that cost about £ 8 by the way was shameful. it would never have left the kitchen. Simply Awesome. Hi there, I go to this place all of the time and love it, friendly staff, good food, always very clean and very welcoming. I am a girl and I love the fact that they lite candles during the winter months during the day even at breakfast time. It is a small thing I know but it really helps to welcome people in and I just love it thank you Tonic for the candles : Tonic has a brilliant selection of Burgers (50 odd I think! , wraps, baked potatoes and heaps of delicious sides. A mixed bag of fail usually : . I have been to Tonic many times over the past few years and the one thing that strikes me is the lack of consistency. I have regularly been served a soggy, smelly bun with my burger, which appears to have been frozen and quickly unfrozen for my meal. Disgusting. Service is usually verrrrrry slow, but sometimes this is due to the lack of staff on at busy times. They also seemed to have changed their chilli recipe recently which is pretty disappointing as the chilli before was one of the main reasons to visit...arguably the best in town.
