"Typical local trattoria. After visiting the Castle we chose this restaurant as recommended by the Magione staff. Arrived easily after a 5 minute drive without traffic and parked adjacent to the restaurant along the road. Once inside they asked us to leave a name and come back in 15 minutes. Taking advantage of a good Sunday weather we took 2 steps up to the Dam and took 2 photos in the adjacent nature. Once back at the restaurant they let us choose the table. We took 1 mixed platter for two, then a first course and a second course each. Personally, I had a typical Piacenza dish as my first course, Pisarei with beans. For second I continued with Scottona stew with Gutturnio. To drink 1/2 local red in carafe and still water. At the checkout they also gave us a discount upon payment. Courteous staff and a clean and spacious room, ideal for parties and group meals. Recommended for those who come to visit the Chignolo Po Castle."

Quello che ci si aspetta da una trattoria nella campagna tra Pavia, Lodi e Piacenza...e lo trovi. Servizio cortese, veloce e non invadente, piatti squisiti il controfiletto con mele e cipolle ottimo), prezzo adeguato. What else?

Davvero, davvero eccellente. 5 stelle piene e meritate. Ho mangiato ravioli di zucca e gorgonzola, eccellente. ravioli di carne con funghi, eccellente. arrosto di maiale, agnello che si sceglie in bocca, coscia di pollo dove le ossa sono andate via da solo. Pazzo tiramisù. assolutamente di alta qualità. Bene, tornero' quando passero' in queste zone.
