"Gianfranco è sempre stato e sarà sempre una garanzia. Semplicemente non c’è posto al mondo dove si mangi meglio che qui. Atmosfera informale, amichevole aria di casa, tutta la piacevolezza della tovaglia a quadri, delle porzioni esagerate, delle ricette della nonna, dei profumi, dei sapori autentici della tradizione. Dell’oste che ti sa accogliere e farti star bene! Da provare e riprovare. Da godere. Da gustare. Da mangiare come se non ci fosse domani. Uno di quei posti in cui bisogna andare almeno una volta nella vita. J’adore!!!"

This place we just stumbled upon while out touring around and had one of the best meals of our trip here. We enjoyed it so much we came back two more times. Wood fired pizza and fresh pasta, so delicious.

Really local unpretentious Italian rustic restaurant experience Very simple but wide menu and quickly served by friendly staff who seem to treat locals and visitors the same way . Worth booking as fills up at night and great value and just feels a genuine Italian experience. Must be brilliant in winter with snow outside ,soccer on tv and and wild boar on your plate !

The restaurant we wanted to visit was closed but they recommended Da GianFranco just 4 kms further down the road. We had a very good lunch comprising: wild boar with a side dish of onions and meat kebab with grilled aubergines. Add a bottle of water 2 coffees it cost us just 27€. Pleasant service. No problems with our two dogs (who slept at our feet under the table). We’ll be back
