The polpettini (meatballs) with broad bean purée were delicious, my mother had the coniglio (rabbit) which was scrumcious. I would definitely recommend ordering the orange, onion and sardines as a starter.

Very local no frills decor. Simple food done exceptionally well with really friendly service. The ravioli in meat sauce was divine washed down with a lovely recommended local wine. This was a better dining experience than some of the Michelin dinners we’ve had on this trip.

il miglior ristorante dove abbiamo mangiato durante le nostre vacanze in Sicilia. piatti delicati e gustosi, atmosfera familiare, posizione unica (di fronte alla chiesa di San Francesco d'Assisi all'Immacolata). francesco ha raccomandato ottimi piatti, tutti con ingredienti freschi e ci ha abbinato un ottimo vino (vino rosso etna murgo). tutti a prezzi ottimi. imperdibile.

we came to giufa quite late evening and without reservation and were accommodated with a table friendly. that meant that we finally closed the place for the night; the less positive corollary was that the brot on our table was significantly less than fresh, but I suspect that I would be amazed if it was different for the last few minutes. the eating itself was quite good, the cannula recipe is not for every taste, while the meatballs on a beanstock got the highest marks. a deconstructed cannolo was also excellent. great location in front of the imposing san francesco, great people watching for those so inclined, overall very positive experience.
