We stepped away from the frantic pace of a week in Venice and Bologna to enjoy Sunday dinner at Trattoria La Rosa. The food is wonderful. It reminds me of my first trips to Italy forty years ago when the food set standards that I have not seen elsewhere. My wife is a vegetarian and was well taken care of. I loved the tortelli with zucca and the maialino (pork). The Zuppa Inglese for dessert also brought back memories of my first time for that dessert almost 50 years ago.
