"Un posto meraviglioso. L'oste Filippo sa come farti sentire a casa e la cucina dello chef (figlio di Filippo) è un perfetto connubio tra i sapori della cucina siciliana e quella emiliana. Gli gnocchi è tigelle più buone di Modena...le paste sono rigorosamente fresche ed home made (consiglio vivamente gli spaghetti alla chitarra con crema di pistacchio e guanciale croccante)... stessa cosa vale per gli antipasti ed i secondi, anche in questo caso cucinati con amore ed ingredienti di alta qualità. Per quanto riguarda i dolci consiglio il cannolo siciliano, sará come mangiarlo a Palermo. Un ultima nota va all'ottimo servizio e alla gentilissima Paola che, sempre attenta ad ogni dettaglio, si è dimostrata veramente professionale. Prezzo nella media (secondo me basso, vista la qualità dei prodotti).Ci ritorneremo presto."

Wonderful tortellini!! We tried tortellini Vecchia Modena (with guanciale and scalia di aceto balsamico e parmiggiano). Delicious. As were the green tortellini with ricotta and mortadela. Our children loved the gnocchi fritti and tagliatelle ragù too. We will be coming back for sure.

What an amazing find! We found. this place based on reviews and ratings, and were so thrilled that we went. The front of the restaurant is pretty unassuming, but the service and quality of food were terrific. We were made to feel like guests in someone's home, and the service was attentive but not overbearing. The food from appetizers through first and second courses was absolutely delicious. Pasta was fresh, ingredients were simple and well-used. We started with the fried gnocco and Prosciutto di Parma, then zeroed in on Tortelloni and Tagliatelle for our Primi courses, both originating from the area, and finished with a perfectly cooked filet and mushrooms. Strong recommend.
