Arrivati lì per caso a locale ancora chiuso e chiedo se hanno un posto per mangiare. Un tizio arcigno mette fuori la testa e mi dice seccato che non ha un posto libero e se ne va. Se hai una giornata storta magari stai a casa a riposare.

Vercelli, con le sue case abbandonate e i capannoni dismessi, è l'emblema stesso della desolazione. Dove sono tutti? Ci si domanda girando per le desolate vie del centro all'ora del pranzo. Sono da Paolino. Superba trattoria che incarna al meglio l'eccellenza piemontese nel campo della ristorazione. Un oasi felice che rende felici i commensali.
