"So disappointed. My sweet potato burger arrived wrapped in paper with a vegan sticker on it. On opening the wrapper I realised that it didn’t look like sweet potato and that my omni bf may have had mine with a meat sticker on it. On querying with one of the staff, he basically agreed and with absolutely no apology just swapped mine my bfs burgers around. Who wouldn’t apologise for that mistake? It’s so lucky that neither of us took a bit before realising. Completely ruined my experience. The burger in the end was bang average and difficult to eat. Also saw a different member of staff drop some loaded fries all over someone covering him in sauce and half the chips ended up on the floor."

We tried both burgers, one with a salad, and they were great. Lots of flavor and a little spice.

The restaurant did not meet expectations, especially considering its high prices and limited vegan options.

For the money over £6 the patty fell apart and I wasn't able to eat it in the usual way. The bun I left, it was of cheap quality. There are better places serving better food at better prices. View menu

The burgers here are the best I visited twice! Firstly with the vegan sweet potato quiona patty then the sweetcorn polenta patty. Both served with a gluten free bun and all the patties are gluten free. Served with the best sweet potato fries! My dad also really loved the beef burgers. When I'm back in Belfast will definitely be visiting again!!

Even though Tribal is primarily known for their meat burgers, I was pleasantly surprised by their falafel burger, which can be ordered as a vegan or vegetarian option. It was incredibly tasty and very filling! The atmosphere of the restaurant on Callender Street was casual and funky. The staff was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this place.

for my birthday because I wanted to eat a good burger. I took the cash box blue and you can't imagine how a French person is here for months, how happy I am to eat real cheese and what to say about the fries in cheddar and twirl diving. my chair will explode and it is worth it and the fact that they use washable dishes is wonderful. I really recommend View menu

Tribal Burger no longer offers the delicious sweet potato and quinoa vegan burger, replacing it with a vegan kofte burger that was underwhelming. At £7.50, it felt overpriced compared to other burger places in the city. The previous sweet potato and quinoa burger was a standout, with butter beans, guacamole, and vegan sriracha mayo. It was the best vegan burger I've ever had. The new burger lacks flavor and depth. I may give the falafel burger a try as it replaced the beetroot burger, but my enthusiasm for Tribal Burger has diminished. Update: I returned to try the falafel burger, which was delicious and reasonably priced. My faith in Tribal Burger has been restored.

Just had a pretty enjoyable Sweet Potato burger in the Botanic store, I've been a fan of Tribal Burger for a while because of their vegan/veg options. Although when I finished up lunch and stepped foot out the door for 5 seconds I decided to nip to the loo before we left so went back in. Upon leaving the toilet was accosted by the older manager (assumed it's the owner) snarkily asking was a customer, then when telling him I was went off on one about how I was lying and that I had just walked in. Was embarrassing for him when the staff knew I had just been in for food. Such an awful vibe, it really ruined what was a nice lunch. Won't be back to endure that energy anytime soon.

"enjoyed our evening in james st it was the best culinary experience of our trip! we had been happy to see this evening as we had a few hit-N-seals in the course of our trip to belfast. we were not disappointed and had the fabulous evening. we were quickly welcomed and sitting. the place is beautiful and spacious. revitalized and environment. the bar is great and would like to come back, only for drinks at the bar sometime. we ordered cocktails immediately. an Irish gin negroni and a traditional old fashion. my neger was absolutely excellent. I think the old fashion could have been done with real sugar cubes and not sugar syrup, but it wasn't too bad. we were quick to choose our wein. we chose a beautiful juicy red, the cline, the old vine zinfandel, 2019. to begin we had the ham hock terrine with piccalilli champ bread and some scallops with boar bell. the hanging-hock court was the best ham-hock I had. the homemade piccalilli was something else. really nice crispy and sharp sharp to help cut through the hammock and the champbrot was delicious crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. the scallops and black bells were disappointing, as they lacked no salt or genuine aroma or texture between them. we still ate it and shared the rest of my hammock. we both decided to go for the co. tyrone 270g fillet steak with sides of champ and truffle parmesan chips. red wine and pfeffer sauce. they were fantastic steaks. Actually, I didn't think I would finish mine, but I did. I have met the right choice with the jus and the truffle chips. they went so well together, the dryness of the parmesan and sweet, slightly greasy of the jus. the steaks were perfectly cooked. a medium and my medium rare. fantastic aroma on the grilled outside of the steak and beautiful texture when they pierce. we both agreed that the champ was the best champ we ever cost. it was hot, soft, so well aromatized with hot butter on the top of the copper serving pot melt. it was really the most incredible champ. I was too full of dessert. but my sample ordered the sticky toffee pudding sundae. the team was friendly enough to make me an espresso martini that was both decaf and not a sugar syrup. it was brilliant. we both managed to work our way, although a surprisingly light sticky toast desserts on Sunday. the team was fantastic. very friendly and chatting to us. the bar team did not stop, I had the pleasure of standing and watching them make a great selection of drinks and cocktails. the waiting staff were also very friendly when they check in with us at comfortable places to ensure that we were in order. we felt very well looked around. the service was very good, we didn't feel any hurry, it felt like such a free time in this restaurant. when we come back to belfast, we will be back in absolute terms and we will definitely recommend others. Thank you."
