We visited after seeing reviews and were not disappointed. Lovely fish and chips. The service was friendly and quick too.

what a wonderful chip shop we had fish chips/burger chips/kebab and all were very nice chips not greasy we all enjoyed our meals there that we went a few days later great value for money staff were very polite

Fantastic takeaway in Festiniog. Lovely clean shop and friendly staff. Ordered online and collected in 20 mins. Nice benches outside to sit at. The food is lovely and very much worth a visit if your passing through! 10/10. View menu

The food at this restaurant is just okay, with small portion sizes and high prices. It seems like they are the only option in the area, which may be why they are not putting in as much effort as expected. Overall, I was disappointed with the experience.

I visited Trish Chips a few times whilst working in the area, in all fairness not a lot of choice in the town in the winter. The sevice was good and most of the food was OK, all In would say is avoid the pies, the microwave just turns them into a soggy tasteless mess.

Clean and good first impression sadly the food let it down. Chips clearly recooked,lots black spots from the old potatoes used. Donner kebab consisted of old very dry and hard donner meat with lettuce and onion in a box but no pitta bread no offer of sauce. No one in our family finished their meal. Stayed at the Zip World Hotel and had limited food choices so searched the local options, Trish&Chips came up so dropped them a message to which they replied in seconds. Downloaded the App and ordered for delivery to hotel, food was lovely, service was excellent, definitely give this a try if your in the area. Only small issue was the app didn’t update but it arrived at the time quoted so just a small technical issue. Top marks

I'm not sure what has been going on at this restaurant for the past two weeks, but the quality of the chips has seriously declined. The last six times I have ordered them, I have had to throw them away. They were soggy and overcooked, almost as if they were reheated from the previous day. I feel like I wasted my money. I have to be honest and say that I won't be returning for a while until the food improves. I think I'll go back to getting kebabs instead.

This chippy is fantastic! The chips are perfect - thick and fluffy, as well as thin and crunchy. The portions are generous and everything we've tried has been delicious. It can get busy in the evenings, so it's best to call ahead with your order. Since moving to the area earlier this year, we were delighted to find such a great fish and chip shop nearby. The staff are friendly, the food is always freshly cooked and tasty, and the menu offers a variety of options. We have become regular customers at this point, like many locals. I appreciate that there is an app available to browse the menu or order online. I highly recommend the crispy chicken strips. View menu
