"The food is pretty good, prices are reasonable and portions are big. They also take cards, that's an advantage for German restaurants and cafes. We visited it on 1 January, everything was closed but this places. So that's another advantage - they work during holidays! The design is nice, but personally I think they could do better. Anyway thanks to them we didn't starved to death that day And at the end we were given cookies with predictions Thanks a lot!"

"Tuesday morning Reserved for Wednesday night. Excellent. At 19:15. Name on which the reservation is called. You knew how the gun shot. Down in the vault cellar to the reserved table for 2 persons. Until then all note 1 with star. It's a great location. Now comes the honest frightening. The two waitresses at the bottom of the vault cellar are totally overwhelmed. Menu will receive after longer waiting period. After receiving the menu even longer waiting period until you could order. Waitress came and asked if we already knew what we want. Answer from us. Yeah, we've known for a long time. Statement or Answer to this from the waitress that you had enough time to pick something is not exactly beneficial. Excuse me for stress would have been more honest and more polite. After an exceptional order, the waiting period was appropriate from receiving drinks, appetizer and main course. Observe that several tables have waited longer and have been completely overlooked by the waiters. The women's group of a table carefully picked up the cards themselves and then asked carefully whether they could order something here. To solve this problem simply missing a 3rd person down in the vault cellar. This 3rd person has to be firmly behind the bar and make the drink sink and visually support which table wants to order. Waitresses have to take off their tunnel view and turn the head to the left and right at a time. This allows you to take a look with the guests so that the guests' orders can be received more quickly. Food: Appetizer good. Main food a failure. Bratkartoffeln and onions unfortunately partly burned strongly. Stainless meat medium quality. Fat and tendons too much in meat. Medium Plus ordered and received slightly less than medium. It should come in a mustard crust and came in a mustard bath. The rest of the year is covered by my must. Nevertheless, I come back and am, even if it was so, not clashing. Hope that the mistakes are turned off, because this location is absolutely worth a visit."

Hier ist für jeden was dabei.Wir waren schon öfters hier, da aber das Lokal sehr gut besucht ist, muss unbedingt reserviert werden.Schnitzel, Rostbraten, Salate, etc. alles frisch und super lecker !Portionen auch mehr als ausreichend.Mit Abstand die besten "schwäbischen Maultaschen mit Kartoffelsalat" in der Region. Tolle Auswahl an Getränken. Besondere Biere (auch aus Bayern) oder Weine der besten Winzer der Umgebung. (z.B. Weingut Kusterer) oder auch die selbergebrannte Schnäpse. Einfach toll.Dazu noch ein herausragendes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis !Das Lokal ist sehr schön eingerichtet, aber für meinen Geschmack ein wenig zu hell ausgeleuchtet, dies geht auf Kosten der Gemütlichkeit.Alles in Allem eines der besten schwäbischen Lokale in Esslingen."

"the design is great - typical for an american diner. but the service is very far from it. even if it is hectic - the guests look forward to a nice evening. especially after a long patient waiting period for a free table, we expect ease and attention. perhaps a stay in a diner in the usa would be appropriate for the ladies - styling alone is not enough. long waiting time also after ordering - not child-friendly. The vegetarian burger was not delicious - unfortunately not better than a finished product. milkshakes and cheeseburgers with bark were good, but nothing special."

"We went to Esslingen "just because" on a Saturday and I found the Delhi Palace for our lunch. And was it good? Oh goodness YES it was good. The service was excellent. We might have been the only customers there at the time (Saturday lunchtime) but we were still made to feel very welcome. Poppadums were there in no time, and my 4 y.o. loved them. The main courses were beautifully presented, my Korma sauce was to die for, the Naan was fluffy, beer was also good (Baisinger - a good brewery).Summary: One of the best Indians I have had in Germany if not THE best."

"Was staying in Esslingen and wanted pizza, so we ate here one night. I really love German pizza, as they tend to be thin crust and tasty. This one is thin, but average at best. Started with the caprese salad, which was good, but not...great (cherry tomatoes and not enough balsamic). I then had the margherita pizza. The sauce sauce and cheese were good, but the pizza was slightly undercooked and the cheese and sauce were only at the center; way too much crust for my taste. We did had a couple beers which were really good, and the service was friendly, but average. Also, they don't do credit cards; cash only. Overall, it was not terrible, but we most certainly will not be returning."

"Wir sind spontan vorbei und hatten einen Tisch ergattert. Essen mit sehr guten Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Es gab Empfehlungen des Tages, wir hatten Meeresfrüchte mit Erbsen, Buschetta, Pasta mit Trüffel und Spaghetti Carbonara. Genial, ich wurde gefragt ob ich die mit Kochschinken und Sahne möchte oder Original. Ich fand die Pasta sehr gut von der Portion. Vorspeise hätte auch kleiner sein dürfen. Was soll ich sagen. Es war sensationell gut. Sehr empfehlenswert!"

"following the TripAdvisor recommendation, the Restaurant "Kleine Traube" is at rank "2" in Esslingen. I do confirm, the cooking is authentic local cooking. We did a reservation 3 hours in advance, which we do recommend during holiday peal season (July / August). A table for 2 persons during lunch time was problem at all.I have ordered the "Home made Maultaschen", which is pasta squares filled with meat and herbs. Fantastic taste and compared with other classic Maultaschen, the 'Kleine Traube' does it quite light with nice meat/herbs filling. We had as well a vegitarian version of 'Swabian Alp Cheese Pasta' (Käs Spätzle), which was home made with an excellent Swabian Alp cheese. Overall the service was nice. Not allways patient - but still very friendly. Price is acceptable due to very good quality."

"the three points reflect the current total impression due to the meanwhile poor services and the first-class food. We've been going into the market e1ins for several years, but we're not as happy as we used to. this is on the one hand the worsening personal (unattentively, desinteressiert, e.g. also overwhelmed) but also at the same time as the online ticket deviates from the actual menu (currently corrected). we had already had events that we had no more tee/coffee over an hour before closing, because the machine had to be cleaned and then of course could no longer be put into operation. because of these things we have taken our cakes or tartes with home. tastefully, however, you can't put anything, but nothing at all on all products. Whether pasta, tarte or flaky cake, it tastes everything excellent and is absolutely recommended."

"the footsteps of approx. 20 minutes from campus has provided the necessary appetit. This walk will also be rewarded with a wonderful garden ambience along the teasing path. in the main course was a mixed salate beforehand; the kartoffelsalat was already an experience! the main course gave it’s maul bags to rieslingsauce - at least phenomenal for me as a non-swivel. The evening was crowned by a dessert variation that seeks the same.Bedient we were highly personalized by the innate, to a kind that reads us, we would be in a star restaurant. I would recommend to every visitor of the Esslingen a meal in this dreamlike local without reservation."

"A normal Chinese restaurant/snack bar. Very good lunch menu, but even the normal menu is within the normal range. The price performance ratio is great, actually too cheap. "Al Forno has amazing food - from their pasta to their made-where-you-can-watch wood burning brick oven pizza!! Overall, the favorite Italian restaurant of my family and friends when they visit us in Esslingen. The only problem - the service is not so great...some days they are friendly and there in a reasonable time - other days, they seem to debate for 15 minutes whether they want to take your order at all. I have a hard time with that. Their prices at lunch for one of their 4 lunch specials are great (7 Euro), but any other item ordered incurs an additional 3-4 Euro for the small lettuce salad and the prices are somewhat high compared to other Italian restaurants in town. They do have sidewalk tables to sit at almost year-round and from March - October, there is a very nice ice cream store next door that also has outside tables (not sure if they will take your order at the pizza tables, but it's worth a try)."

"we were in the kitchen for 5 times and used everything from aperitif to before, head and dessert. high-quality products, creative selection time and again a new dish (winter menu.) top service, justified prices as all organic, vegan and vegetarian dishes, in which really very well visited and I strongly recommend booking in advance via open tables."

"Recently we've spend a good dinner evening at Kohinoor. The buffet (Tuesday to Thursday - 10€) was well organised. Soup and chicken wings as starter, shahi paneer and chicken korma - and of course dāl.Service was fast and friendly - many people were there, which I take for a good sign ...Food good and descent - not very Indian though, which might be 'helpful' for Germans .... ;-)I loved the the desserts most - wonderful kulfi taste and semolina with safron and kardamon.We'll come again soon!"

"Der Service war die reinste Katastrophe. Der Kellner konnte kaum deutsch und man konnte sich nur über Zahlen des jeweiligen Essen und Trinken miteinander verständigen. Das Personal wusste nicht an welchen Tisch welches Essen und trinken gehört. Wir wurden mehrmals gefragt, ob wir das bestellt haben. Der Salat war gut. Hauptgang kam nicht für alle gleichzeitig an. Die erste Person bei uns am Tisch war bereits fertig, als die anderen gerade einmal den Hauptgang bekommen haben. Als der Kellner die restlichen Hauptgänge gebraucht hat, hat er sich ziemlich nah über den schon fast leeren anderen Hauptgang gebeugt, um zu sehen, was es ist. Ich hatte den Grillteller und war sehr enttäuscht. Fleisch war nur lauwarm, Teller total kalt und die Kartoffeln mit Fett vollgesogen. Wir konnten den Teller nicht leer essen, da es mit der Zeit widerstanden ist. Als wir nach dem Essen noch einen Espresso bestellt haben, kam dieser nie an. Wir haben dann bezahlt und sind gegangen. Wir werden hier nie wieder hingehen und würden es auch keinem empfehlen."

"The place is more dedicated to delivering, but still they have three tables for very hungry people. Their kitchen is probably five times bigger than the restaurant but that's what they need, because the food.. the food is FANTASTIC! Really tasty and fresh ingredients, the dough of the pizza was crusty and very tasty, nothing to compare to what people are used to in such a fast food restaurants. One bite of their pizza is one bite of perfection!"

The portions are generous and there's always something for everyone - vegetarians, pescetarians, flexitarians and even vegan. You just have to ask. The restaurant has a very welcoming atmosphere and the food is absolutely delicious. You always get a hefty serving of healthy vegetables in most dishes. The owners Vietnamese and if you are up for typical Vietnamese food, they can recommend a dish that suits your taste. The restaurant is also very accessible by public transportation, just about 3 minutes walk from the train and bus stations of Esslingen am Neckar."
