"We went to Esslingen "just because" on a Saturday and I found the Delhi Palace for our lunch. And was it good? Oh goodness YES it was good. The service was excellent. We might have been the only customers there at the time (Saturday lunchtime) but we were still made to feel very welcome. Poppadums were there in no time, and my 4 y.o. loved them. The main courses were beautifully presented, my Korma sauce was to die for, the Naan was fluffy, beer was also good (Baisinger - a good brewery).Summary: One of the best Indians I have had in Germany if not THE best."

Very delicious food. I have been here a few times, the food is always amazing. The quantity is good for the price. And the options for bread and tandoor are great. Sitting in the beer garden during a pleasant sunny day is an advantage.

The only thing I would have to complain about was the temperature in the restaurant, it was extremely warm. Overall, I can only recommend the restaurant and we would be happy to come back. In fact, the best restaurant experience in Esslingen over the weekend spent there. I went there without even an intention to eat, just have a beer in their lovely terrace under old tree while waiting for the friends. When the friends joined we decided not look for another lunch place and eat there. Food was great, especially meat in mango sauce, service excellent: fast, friendly, unintrusive.

Its the typical Indian restaurant that serves you the same gravy with different combinations. I ordered a Prawns gravy and my friend a Chicken Tikka gravy. Both of them tasted the same except for the main content (Prawns and Chicken) Therefore, I would not say its something different to other places, which claim to have specialized Indian food. As an Indian we find the differences in each dish, which could be difficult for the Non Indians. Service: Dine in
