"This is probably my second-favorite restaurant in the immediate Altstetten area, coming in right after the La Taqueria. Food is always good and the value-for-money is also excellent considering Zurich prices). I live nearby, so I 've probably been here 15-20 times in the past year and a half since they opened, and every time am happy with the food and service. The pizzas are always great and with interesting variety including some with high quality special ingredients you don 't see elsewhere e.g. the Turicum pizza with mascarpone and boletus mushrooms is fantastic), all at very reasonable prices for Zurich ±18-25 chf, slightly cheaper if takeaway). The pastas also use freshly made noodles, which is pretty obvious from the taste, and the basics like carbonara are always delicious. There 's also a pretty wide selection of generic European cuisine, like steaks and cordon bleu, all of which is good but we tend to always get the specialties of pasta or pizza. Their specialty pizzas here are my favorite in Zurich although it 's not my favorite pizzeria in my entire life), and in general I find the food better than the big Italian chain restaurants like Santa Lucia and it 's miles better than the generic pizza and kebab restaurants that you find all over the place. I live close enough that it 's an easy visit for me every few weeks, but even if I moved to the other side of Zurich I 'm sure I would come back every now and then. The outside patio is great in summer, especially now that the construction at Farbhof is FINALLY finished after nearly 3 years. Well, there 's still construction, but now at least it 's 30 meters away across the intersection instead of directly in front of the restaurant, so it shouldn 't make it unbearably loud to sit outside this summer."

"The kebab dishes (flatbread or pocket bread, also plates) are great, bread is homemade. Meat is always fresh and juicy. Sauces: Yoghurt cocktail (like everywhere), but here there is also a homemade “spicy sauce” that is absolutely great! Pizzas are ok, prices are fair too. Good opening times, always friendly staff! Keep it up!"

"My friend and I had a fabulous experience at Restaurant Mezze when we went there for dinner on April 27th, 2023. One very important point that led me to choose this place: The meat served here is halal, so it suits Muslims needing this. We ordered the mezze platter for 2 with meats other items and we had the mint tea in a pot, which was refilled with hot water as needed. The tastes, the attractive way the food was presented along with the very friendly attentive waiters made our evening a true delight! Parking is easily available at the restaurant, and if their 2 parking spots are taken, there are many more right along the road. Thank you to all at the restaurant for making my birthday treat so special!"

"Leider eine sehr schlimme Erfahrung! Ich sollte 40 Minuten auf Pasta warten (das Restaurant war fast leer). Wenn ich reklamiert habe, hat die blonde Kellnerin gesagt, dass sie am Abend kein Stress haben wollen!! Hallo?? Sie wollen kein Stress haben oder wollen Sie dass Ihre Kunden zufrieden sind?
