"I'm in Munich for a week, renting a place just down the road from Urban/Soup. I passed a couple times, and wondered - why would I get soup when I can get the best sausage or schnitzel in the world? Then, on a cold November night, I changed my mind and headed over.I don't speak much (any) German, and was relieved to find that the young guy working behind the counter speaks fluent English. He was incredibly friendly, and took the time to explain the restaurant's concept, the different soups, sizes, etc. I went with a small jar of the Himalayan Dhal, and really can't get over how good it was. One of the best bowls of soup I've ever had in my life - oh, and as a bonus, you can help yourself to a complimentary apple on your way out.The restaurant is small - seating is limited to a couch and a few stools up against a bar at the window. However, since the soup is served in jars, you can make your selection, wait a couple minutes, pick it up at the counter, and sip it on your way down the street. This is only my second full day in town, and I have a sneaking suspicion I'll be back."

I love the branding concepts, and the soup was good but as a takeaway to eat on the train, no spoon and a boiling hot jar was a bit impractical.

Incredibly delicious soup that you can either eat there or have it 'to go'. The idea itself is amazing. Staff are super friendly and welcoming. Probably, one of the best soups I've had so far!

Been there with my girlfriend - we shared one of the big soups together and it was enough for the two of us, really filling. Plus, surely one of the best soups we've ever had. Great concept, the store looks neat too. If you eat in you get water and an apple for free. Will definitely come back!

Small hipster place in the heart of theCity offers small (ca 6) choice of really delicious soups. Fresh, tasty, where traditional fusions with a touch of extravaganza. You get a jar you can drink. And this is perfect amount for a light lunch or even light supper. Love that place. Will come back

Delicious, vibrant soups in convenient "eat on the go" packaging (glass jar, with screw off top - great for sipping). Friendly service and great bread (especially the olive) on the side. Warning - despite the innovative corrugated cardboard sleeves (that wrap around the jar - so it's easy to hold), the jar still gets quite hot - even through the protective sleeve. So use caution!

My gf and I are glad we found U.Soup Tasty, healthy takeaway food for two weary under-nourished travellers on a budget. She had the vegetarian tomato option, I had chorizo. Both tasted amazing. Full meals in themselves. The team were friendly and helpful, passionate about their food. We'll definitely visit again before we leave. Wish we had something like this at home in Australia!

As quite new tourists me and my love had a hard time finding good, healthy and cheap enough places to eat. That one day we were wandering in Munich, looking for some good affordable food this little piece of magic just happened to be in sight and it really did save us. After two delicious cold soups I bought a big hot soup (that comes with a little "rustic bread)" that we ate on the train that day. It's s whole new level of soup!

"A white sausage breakfast was planned for today. At Aunt Google, we read the Truderinger. Here we've been eating and it fits, there's a bus stop in front of the house, so there. It's a bit confusing. On the HP is from 10.00 breakfast, on site from 10.30. Before us, a gentleman went in and asked for white, and the lady then said she had to ask the cook if there are already some. The Wirtshaus is located on the through road at the corner. The beer garden goes to the street and you just come in. In the inner one comes through 4 steps. In the backyard, they have their own parking spaces which are accessible from the beer garden. Service The lady welcomed us friendly and we had free choice. After the order of the Lord, we immediately shared with the white one. Then there won't be a problem she thinks there was a answer. She also came back, gave the OK and picked up the drinks. These came quickly with a nice one, too. As a service force, it was recognizable by the diocese pink. The grottos reached us with a nice one and the whites didn't wait long. She meant that we were supposed to make her taste us and also asked if everything would fit under the food. The empty plates were immediately noticed and asked if it tasted us. About our answer she thanked. Since she was no longer present, I went on my way to the inner for the payment process, wanted to catch the bus. She was a little embarrassed and she apologized several times. We would have waited the few minutes, but it's not that bad. They just covered the hall for a wedding. She read the Bon out thanked herself again, wished a nice Saturday and passed me friendly. Very nice and friendly, the time theme was on us, so there was nothing to complain about, 5 star food The card consists of a red cover with logo on it and is already a little worn out. In the inner are stitched sheets. The Bavarian course is still in the map. Since she stayed on the table we could also have a little leaves. It is very crowded with a variety of dishes, so you have to read a time. We had two dark wheat at 4,30 € each and two times a few whites with crushes and mustard at 6,30 € each Brezens were very delicious, outside nice crispy, inside soft. It was tidy salt on it and they were still lukewarm. They tasted us very well. The whites came in a lion header and were covered. There were two plates and the mustard was placed in bowls and was also sufficient. We liked that. The water was very hot and the whites too. It wasn't so hot that they were bursting. Tastefully they were good, beautifully tasted and some parsley included. They tasted us, but they had more tasty. For whites with Brezen we give 4 star ambience It is a beautiful beer garden with various tables in round, larger, smaller and from the beer garden seating in brown with the folding tables and chairs. Tables were made from tree stumps. There are various areas, sometimes covered and a part on the terrace. Some of them are shaded by trees or by umbrellas. It's all beautifully demarcated and greened. The walls are decorated with pictures and there are also beer benches and tables. There's nothing on this one. Otherwise there is at the other tables a holder with beer lid, an ashtray, salt pepper and sugar shaker, a jug with cutlery and variously colored napkins and the one card is already on the table From the street you don't get much with it, it's all nicely separated. In the beer garden we couldn't find anything negative, toilets were not visited and for the indoor area was too short to look. 5 stars"

"I often feel like visiting a Greek restaurant as a short trip to Greece. Pleasant holiday memories come high and winter before the door is quickly forgotten. If you travel from Munich to Erding with the S-2, you will find the view of this Greek restaurant at the Feldkirchener secondary station. Large chestnuts with a typical beer garden, a beautifully renovated house. One hopes for a good meal at perhaps cheaper prices than in Munich. The restaurant was well visited when I arrived. The guest room consists of two interconnected rooms. The decoration is Greek-altbacken. The tables and chairs are very close to each other. The greeting was very friendly, we were immediately shown a place. An ouzo was also brought together with the menu. The menu did not show any special features, but that was not expected. The number of dishes beats, the variation of the individual dishes is often low. That's relative. I had grilled Gyros with baby Calamaris, with rice, Zaziki (inner of a finished product) and salad. The Gyros was good, the Kalamaris – good and he really rests was not worth a review. The restaurant is recommended, otherwise I would go for another place for dinner. The beer garden seems worth a trip in the summer. The old chestnuts are also very worth seeing without leaves. Others: The toilets are clean, but not clean. Rich parking is available. S-Bahn at a distance of 30 m."
