"I was taken here by some work colleagues on a recent business trip to Munich. We received a very warm and friendly welcome upon arrival. The restaurant was very busy for a Tuesday night which is always a good sign. The menu choice is huge. We ordered a variety of starters all of which was very tasty indeed. My main meal was a usual choice for me, but have to say I was very impressed with the quality, and size of the portion. I like my rice, and was pleasantly surprised when they automatically serve you rice rather than order it from the menu. During the meal they ask if you want more rice so this was very good. Everything was delicious.Overall I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and atmosphere in this restaurant. Would definitely return here and wish this was near me in the UK!."

Am not an expert for Indian food, but for me this restaurant serves tasty Indian food. Perhaps next time I will ask for having it flavored the original way, not adjusted to European taste.

The staff is a bit cordial than means that nothing outstanding. The food is quite fine and you can have a alcohol in this place. The price is above of normal. You can enjoy of the all typical indian food, the menu is quite large.

We regularly visit Guru and the quality of the food served is always very good. Unfortunately the decoration/ambiance is rather outdated, it needs modernization/upgrading. Also, service is OK but could be more friendly and a bit more attentive at times... Also it would be nice to see more diversity in the all male staff. View menu

Here you could almost be in India. There is a great ambience and the staff are very welcoming. The food is not quite real Indian and has been adapted for the German taste but nevertheless very good. There is a large choice on the menu including vegetarian dishes. It can get busy at the week end and to be sure of a table it's best to reserve.

Two years ago i had a meal at this restaurant and it was great , the staff were friendly and attentive and even spoke English ( they didnt need to ) when hearing me speak to my wife even though our friends were speaking German . both the food and the overall service was excellent . I didnt post a review then but am so now because i have used the Guru again for a takeaway and the speed of service and food was again excellent .i would totally recommend this place to eat and will be going back again when in Germany next year !!!!

First off, I found the waiters quite cold and rushed. The one who took our order abruptly asked for our main dishes before we were even done ordering the starters. The food in itself was quite average. The fried starters we got were really greasy and didn't really taste like much, other than the fried batter. For my main dish, I had the duck in a typical Indian sauce, which was so drowned in sauce I couldn't even taste the duck. For all I know, it could have been chicken or pork. The sauce itself was okay though. Needless to say, we didn't go for dessert. View menu

I am not Indian but I love indian food so much so almost every two weeks I go to Indian restaurant in the other cities too. I am quite new in this town and this was my first indian Restaurant in Trudering Germany. The staffs are very friendly and fluent in English, they have English menu too. Service is also very good.We had tandoori chicken for the starter and I had Paneer Masala Curry(it was not on the menu but they could cook it) and my husband had Vindaloo with Garlic naan and rice comes with curry for free. Food was very tasty, I did not expect much but it was so much better than I expected. It gets busy later than 6:30 so you better be there earlier than 6:30 or make a reservation in ad...

We went to this place after trying out another Indian nearby the previous day. Based on the reviews, we expected a better fare and were not disappointed. The restaurant is on a main road, easily accessible by public transport but parking can be an issue. We had to park on one of the side streets since parking on the main road was full. We went in for such and chose items from the lunch menu. The Dal-Soup was really tasty and the spouse was served with fresh salad. The service was prompt, friendly despite an almost full house! The food was very tasty, we ordered Vegetable Korma and Shahi Paneer along with rice and naan. The food was very tasty and the portions were generous!Worth the money an...

In Zahlen: Preis 50% rauf, Qualität 50% runter. Cheers, Joe"
