"Apart from the screaming baby that the restaurant can do nothing, and it was only regrettable that they were sitting on us almost, the experience was very pleasant. it will certainly fill them, and I would not recommend to go regularly as they really begin to ballon! while I had a selection of salatable as well as carbohydrates, much Portuguese beer and a whole amount of meat. rump steak, filet steak, sausage, venison, pork, ham, lamb, chicken leg, chili rind to name just a few. all very tasty. it would be practical if the meat remained hot, as the only problem is if they get a whole amount of meat on their teller at once, and with more coming around the whole time it is difficult to eat it while it is hot, which means it becomes harder and less palable. otherwise I would recommend for fun and as start to a night to fill. only disadvantages is really the price, it costs us around £40 any (including beer) that is a fair amount of money, and there is nothing they can do on the price as it is set."

I've had Salerno's Pizza at other locations since I was a kid, one of the best. I did not order any food just a beer on a Sunday afternoon.

armed with absolutely no warning, but recommended. what a fantastic evening! totally unique, good for us anyway, dinning experience. the staff was absolutely excellent and literally fell over themselves to help them. recommend this place and we will definitely go back. Five stars!

This is a fantastic place to visit if you love meat! We arrived at 5.30 which admittedly was very early and as a result, it was quiet. However, there were 16 cuts of meat available of which we reached about 12 before giving in as we were so full. The all you can eat salad was fresh at all times and as tasty as the meat. We would definitely visit again if we were in York.
