"carefree and elegant location. we ate out where you like a beautiful view. as the first we chose red rice and golden chaplains and burrata. risotto is presented with a lot of tomato that overlooks the other raw flavors and shrimps are lost and appear almost cooked as “in rice” and not raw places above the dish. chaplains are presented with a beautiful scaling but lack of goto: the goto of egg pasta is very felt and little stuffed and seasoned, the latter a little too little. second category compared to the first choice: fabulous lobster as well as bass, excellent scaling. we concluded with a common sweet, tarta of tonka bean pralined to janduia and green apple, really excellent. before starting, it was offered an entrance and then a pre dessert and a small pastry with coffee. total spending with bottle of livio felluga, €170. friendly and attentive service but perhaps a little too present in filling wine and water frequently. to be specified that do not reserve tables, so there is no certainty of being able to eat outside on the terrace."

"the style of the room is very particular and interesting. as the name meant. the owner is a person childishly kind and polite, the attention to the customer is definitely home here. the food is good, we ate an appetizer, a first and a second and drank of the excellent local wine, that we made recommend from the owner and that we loved it very much. the account was also honest. dishes between 12 and 18 €, bottle of wine 18 €... in a tourist and passing place, in the historic center in orbetello there is seemed very good also cocktails, next time maybe we will go also for an aperitif! recommended recommended"

"do not be fooled by appearance and negative reviews. We eat often in gourmet restaurants and I tell you with certainty that this restaurant has nothing to envy at the best restaurants on the whole Tuscan coast. Surely the decor is not in the latest fashion and the local looks antique but be patient and you will be rewarded by the best fish dishes you can taste. the presentation is spartan but the taste is genuine and engaging showing a great knowledge and choice of the raw material. Moreover, the family management allows you to have a direct contact with people who put their hands in the dishes and face when they take them to the table. difficult to find nowadays a restaurant with the value for money so. really recommended!"

"ristorante trovato per caso ma chiaramente superiore all'altro provato al porto a. Stefano . siete accolti dal proprietario molto bello che immediatamente vi mette a vostro agio e in cucina sua moglie molto buona. Pesce e cucina con piatti siciliani espressi con pesce fresco e per fortuna un menù con poche proposte tutte eccezionali. insalata di mare calda e spaghetti con il pesce tra i migliori gusti. C'è anche la proposta della pesca del giorno che viene presentata alla tabella. solo difetto? la difficoltà di prenotare perché è sempre piena specie fine settimana ... ma ne vale la pena! è il ristorante di pesce fresco che cerchi sempre nei luoghi del mare senza mai trovarlo!"

"After trying several restaurants of orbetello, this evening we decided to dine at my house we were greeted by the friendly and helpful staff who immediately made us feel comfortable. we started with an excellent tartara of meat and then with fettuccine with the fresh anchovies for my wife and taglialini with the whisk of muggine and lemon zest for me, two pasta dishes absolutely fine! I would like to emphasize that the pasta are made in the house using flours of ancient grains, real delights. both dishes, the first and easiest the second have immediately conquered us. for the second, my wife chose delicious scallops with absolutely perfect vegetarian gratination and I a delicious beef cheek cooked in slow cooking to the chianti and juniper wine that literally melted in the mouth. already at this point, we were more than satisfied but, precisely for this reason, we did not want to deprive ourselves of the pleasure of having also dessert. My wife opted for a wonderful cake my house (sweet with bitter orange jam and cocoa sponge cake) with the right touch of bitter perfect to close a succulent dinner. I, however, plunged into an excellent semi-freddo of pistachios decorated with melted dark chocolate and crispy of raspberries, one of the best semi-freddi I've ever gotten! desserts are of own production as well as the excellent oranges love oates to prepare cake jam and the difference you feel! what to say more? Maybe it was the best dinner here in the bear (and Sunday we come back) and my house became my restaurant!!"
