"My wife, daughter, and I went to this restaurant for dinner. They had just introduced a new menu, so we decided to give it a try. We were pleased with our choice, as the food was delicious, beautifully presented, and served promptly. The new menu offered a wide variety of options, including classic pub fare and more diverse choices. We ordered appetizers, main dishes, and a few pints each, and our bill came to less than £50 for the three of us. It was great value for the quality of the food and service. The staff were also very friendly, so we will definitely be going back."

Dropped in for a Sunday dinner as we fancied a roast but we're way too hot to cook! Really enjoyed it! Lamb was nice and mash potato was lovely. Veg was nice and fresh (could tell it hadn't been kept warm). Overall very pleased! We'll be back again soon

Nice pub with a big beer garden accommodating a good play area for children. We went with our grandchild for a meal after visiting the annual town show but were told that they were not doing food at that time. No reason given! (Hence only 3 stars). Otherwise well worth a visit. View menu

Popped in here out of the rain last week as I was walking home from the railway station. Was surprised as it doesn't look much from the outside but inside it's warm and comforting. Beer is good value and I'm sure the food is too. Sports on the TV in one bar but not too loud to be off-putting.

We spend many a sunny day at the Victoria, good choice of drinks and food and a massive beer garden to enjoy ice cold beers in the sun with friends and family. They used to have plenty of children's play apparatus , but the pub is still being upgraded and i believe the children's play area will be restored.

It's nice to see what an effort the new owners have made in the refurbishment of this pub! It's also nice to see a familiar face back as the new manager. A warm and friendly welcome definitely awaits now at the Victoria... Home cooked meals which are very reasonably priced, fantastic special offers on food and the drink are served perfectly. Definitely worth a visit as it's become mine and my friends new regular for sure!! View menu

During our stay in Newton-le-Willows, we have enjoyed Sunday lunch at the Victoria for the past two weeks. We have tried the beef, gammon, and pork, all of which were delicious. The meal also includes roast potatoes, mashed potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, carrots, green beans, broccoli, cauliflower cheese, and gravy, all for £7.95, which is excellent value for the price. The vegetables are cooked perfectly and presented nicely. The servers may be young, but they are very polite and efficient. We look forward to returning to try other dishes from the main menu.

Decided to try the Victoria for dinner on a Friday night (7.30pm) but were very shocked to be told that the chef had went home and they were not serving food. This seemed absolutely ridiculous on a Friday evening, especially when the place actively advertises the food offerings outside. There were menus out on the tables listing the Friday special! We went to the High Street where we managed to get a really nice meal. The Victoria needs to get its act together. If you are happy just being a local watering hole, then don't advertise yourself as anything else.
