Posto suggestivo e davvero accogliente, piatti della tradizione valtellinese buonissimi, consiglio menù da ottimo e completo.

Pluses: atmosphere and service. Minus: the food quality was awful. My stewed beef was sour and inedible. The “ravioli” was lower quality than supermarket tortellini. A tourist trap for certain. Avoid this place.

Abbiamo cenato di recente in questo ristorante, dove conviene sempre prenotare perché ha pochi coperti, abbiamo preso come antipasto i Chiscioi, simili agli sciatt ma a forma di frittella, ripieni di casera, il risotto con la quaglia pancettata e pecorino tartufato buonissimo (ne avrei mangiato un’altro piatto pasta al torchio con ragù di cervo e come dessert lo strudel di mele con crema alla vaniglia e torta di amaretti e mele. This restaurant is located in a 13th century old building so the scene is set for a special evening. The service is friendly, and efficient and the food a very good quality. On our night there my partner and I both wanted something light, so we ordered a vegetarian lasagna which was delightful and came with fresh pasta and vegetables grown in their own garden. Tirano is a very underrated town; delightful. And this restaurant reflects just how good a stay here can be. Recomended

Very happy dining here with my family of four. Gorgeous setting in the internal courtyard of a two story, very old stone building with tonnes of character (moss on the stone etc . The food is locally sourced, regional specialities with interesting options (buckwheat pasta with duck ragu, venison multiple ways , but there are enough gorgeous, simple dishes to keep fussy kids happy (home made spinach and ricotta ravioli with butter and sage, vegetarian lasagna, spaghetti with ragu etc. . The waiters are passionate about locally sourced produce.
