"we went here last night and had a really great evening. The food was good. we all really enjoyed the quiz. The one thing I was very impressed was that we had a table booked the far end of the pub but as soon as the guy saw that my friend was using a walking stick and was struggling, he straight away changed our table to the road end so we didn't need to use the stairs, he then showed us a way to go to the bathroom without using the steps. The quiz master and the staff were all very friendly. will definitely visit the next time we are here. Thank you all for an enjoyable evening"

I had an amazing Sunday lunch with huge portions that were really tasty, at a great price. The staff were also fantastic. I will definitely be back.

I was advised this place had a great Breakfast Menu, they weren’t wrong, everything you would expect from a Full English Breakfast with a small american addition (Never been a great Fan of Hash Browns but even these were good) Everything was served very quickly and a good sized Portion which left me full well into the Afternoon.

My husband and I often have lunch in the Waggon and Horses Newmarket. The food is very good ,and a reasonable price. Today we chose the homemade steak and ale pie with chips, peas and gravy. The pie was the best I had tasted for a long time. The steak was well cooked and the pastry was lovely and a beautiful colour. The staff are friendly too!

I go here for the full English whenever I get the opportunity, which isn't often enough! The staff are very friendly, and the breakfast is as good as I've ever had. Small breakfast includes bacon, local sausage (delicious! , fried egg, mushrooms, beans, hash brown, tomato and a round of toast, with added black pudding for £6.60 is a bargain and cooked exactly to my liking. Great place! Hope it doesn't change when the new owners come in

We had an amazing breakfast at this restaurant and the value is the best I have ever experienced, especially in a time of rising prices. The food was fabulous and freshly cooked, and it even included a drink. We also ordered orange juice, and the total cost was almost half of what it would be at other local restaurants. I can honestly say this place is better in every aspect. Thank you, we will definitely be returning regularly from now on.

Had a recent weekend in Newmarket and stopped here twice for breakfast. The first occasion we had a fry up, excellent tasty produce and very good value served with an excellent cup of builders tea! On the second visit we went for a sandwich one bacon, one sausage. I don't think we have ever seen so much filling in a sandwich! Both were excellent and again served with an excellent cup of builders tea! The staff were very friendly, the meals were both excellent value and the tea served in a mug was excellent! Will be happy to recommend and visit again .
