"Having just spent a week on holiday in Aberporth we absolutely love WatersEdge. We have called for ice cream (lush), just drinks to take to the beach (you can even get a beer to take out) and also lunch and breakfast. The fish pie is delicious as are the chicken and beef burgers. You can build your own burger in terms of what relish etc that you want and I don't mean in terms of mayo or ketchup, have a look! All good. We called for breakfast on the last day before we left and it was great, cannot recommend enough. Really nice, friendly staff EXCELLENT! Thanks guys! We'll be back x"

Situated on a hill overlooking Aberporth beach. Great views. Has both outdoor and indoor seating. Used quite often while on holiday as refreshments (and prices) are excellant.

Only had sandwiches and ice cream but the sandwiches were yummy. Freshly made to order. Me and my hubby only like granary bread and here they do it so was happy. Bread was really fresh and good range of fillings Staff were really friendly.

We were on holiday nearby had a lovely day on Aberporth beach. We called in to WatersEdge for a late lunch were very glad we did! It has gorgeous views out over the beach the food was excellent. Between us we had fish chips, a burger chips, 2 brie cranberry toasties, a kids pizza a ham cheese toastie with chips. All the food was delicious we all really enjoyed our meals. Afterwards our little boy had an ice cream which again was really good the ladies serving were really friendly. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

"Great food and been there many times. As a party of 7, with 3 children under 6 years, thought best to book a table. Told on the phone that they don 't take bookings. Arrived early and found a large table, and just as the other 6 were arriving I was told the table was booked! If I 'd known I would have found another cafe. As it was we waited ages for a table with small children milling around, complete with dirty looks from staff. Disappointing. Some suggestions on how you could have dealt with the situation better: 1. Let us stay on the table until another table was ready, as the party for the reserved table did not turn up for over half an hour. 2. Apologise that the table was not clearly marked as reserved. There was a bottle that I noticed much later, where 'reserved ' was written on only one side, which faced the kitchen. 3. The waiter should have mentioned the reservation rather giving me menus and taking a coffee order while I waited. 4. The waiters (yes several, I must have looked like trouble) who turfed me off the table just as my family were arriving could have explained why the table was reserved when i had been unable to reserve a table because, as you said on the phone, you 'don 't take reservations '. You replied that it was reserved for a 'private party ' and when I asked how that differed from a table booking, you kept repeating the words 'private party '. I was none the wiser. 5. An apology would have gone a long way rather than treating me as a difficult customer. 6. You made me feel totally unwelcome at your restaurant. 7. Well done! Your service, or rather the lack of it, has lost a formerly loyal customer. Quite frankly I 'd rather eat at MacDonalds, at least they 're polite to their customers.
