"Besuch am Sonntag, 04.12.16 mittags.Das Restaurant Spessarter Hof liegt seit 23 Jahren schon im Wohngebiet des Ettlinger Höhenstadtteils Spessart. Die Bushaltestelle (Regionalbus 101 (RVS)) heißt „Wasserwerk“, der Fußweg zum Restaurant dauert etwa 5 Minuten. Der gepflegt Gastraum ist freundlich, modern und geschmackvoll ausgestattet. Durch die große Glasfront ist es sehr hell. Es herrscht eine angenehme Atmosphäre. Die einladende Fassade wurde gerade erneuert.Wir wurden freundlich begrüßt und an unseren reservierten Tisch gebracht. Der Service war aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Die Reservierung war an diesem Sonntagmittag angebracht. Die Tische waren alle belegt.Als Vorspeise hatten wir je eine halbe Portion Muscheln (zusammen 12,80 Euro). Sehr schmackhaft und pikant, in einer würzig-fruchtigen Tomatensauce gegart. Das Pizzabrot war unheimlich lecker. Ein Hauptgericht war Lachs mit Pasta (16,80 €), der Lachs perfekt gegart, gut gewürzt und optisch sehr schön angerichtet, dazu gab es einen Salat. Zum Abschluss gönnten wir uns noch ein sehr schmackhaftes hausgemachtes Tiramisu (4,50 Euro), bzw. eine Tasse Kaffee (2,10 Euro). Pizzen wurden häufig gewählt und auch über die Straße verkauft und machten einen hervorragenden Eindruck.Als Begleiter zum Essen haben wir jeweils einen tief dunklen Nero d'Avolo sicilia bzw. einen frischen Pinot Grigio (0,25l 4,80 bzw. 4,50 Euro) ausgewählt. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis passt angesichts der gebotenen Qualität.Die Toiletten im Untergeschoss sind sauber und gepflegt. Fazit: Es war ein gelungener Mittag, wir haben uns wohl gefühlt und kommen sehr gerne wieder, spätestens, wenn man auf der großen Terrasse im Freien sitzen kann."

"Hier bin ich etwas voreingenommen, ist mein lieblings Kebab Restaurant. Weil ich hier oft Yufka mitnehme. Auch wenn viel anstehen, wird jeder Yufka gleichermaßen sorgfältig angerichtet. Das sieht nicht nur gut aus, er schmeckt auch hervorragend. Die Lebensmittel sind frisch. Die Theke ist vom Gast durch eine Glasscheibe getrennt. Man sieht was aufgetischt wird. Die Bedienungen sind alle sehr freundlich. Wer auf Kebab und Döner steht ist hier genau richtig."

"I had great hopes on this restaurant, but unfortunately they were not fulfilled. at first the place itself. the restaurant is beautifully decorated, but the main room has a lot reverb, so it is very difficult to have conversations. the outside seats are beautiful, but...basic we decided to sit outside, at the floor, we didn't really feel the waiters often showed up enough. we had a round of drinks that were with water, small and pricy. no good combination. after that we ordered starters and main courses. the appetizers were good, but not exceptional. same was for the main dishes: quality seemed good, but cooking was missing behind. both steaks that we ordered were rare and medium appeared completely boiled. presentation was good, so the champagne senfsuppet. However, I am not sure whether 25 euro per participant is justified. everything was missing that little bit and not salt / pfeffer on the table helped. a full hour between the starters and the main courses. we mentioned that our drinks were watered down, and the waiter apologized and promised a free round stronger that never happened. overall, this place has the potential to become a great restaurant, but at the moment there is still something to achieve that."

"really beautiful. the atmosphere is beautiful and the cakes are fresh. we tried three different cakes. it's unlikely everything was good. the latte was really good! To be honest, I was a little insidious with the heavenly delice. Although...fresh and tasty it seemed to me a bit normal without the element of surprise once in the mouth. Maybe it would do a thin layer of crocant cookies. no matter, definatly a place to return! the waitress was nice. you can choose to sit in or outside. regarding the price I found the cake not expensive, but the same I cannot say for the drinks. we paid 6€ for the latte and 5€ for a 0.2l cola."

"Die Speisekarte an sich ist top und unterscheidet sich in einigen von der vieler anderer (häufig deutsch-)griechischer Restaurants, was ich als sehr positiv empfand: So ist beispielsweise die Auswahl an Beilagen abwechslungsreich und es gibt einige interessante vegetarische Gerichte. Besonders die auf der Wochenkarte vorgeschlagenen Zucchiniröllchen waren hervorragend. Trotz des Essens nur 3 Sterne, da die Atmosphäre im Lokal selbst etwas triest war, zudem gibt es einige Tische, die ein bisschen im Dunkeln stehen. Nachdem wir dann keinen Ouzo wollten, ließ man uns links liegen und wir mussten sehr lange auf die Rechnung warten. Das hat den Eindruck sehr getrübt."

"Am Samstag war ich mit meiner Mama in diesem wunderbaren Restaurant. Die Speisekarte ist sehr ansprechend und vielfältig, man kann sich kaum entscheiden. Letztendlich wählten wir beide u.a.den Kretateller (siehe Foto) und waren sehr begeistert. Die Qualität der Speisen ist einfach top, der Service ist unschlagbar und die griechische Gastlichkeit macht einfach Lust auf ein nächstes Mal . Der schöne Blick von der Terrasse auf den Buchtzigsee war noch das iTüpfelchen es war ein rundherum schöner Abend im „Kourus“. Von uns eine absolute Weiterempfehlung!"
