Veritas - Menu

Very good Italian food, starts with the anti pasta and see food, pretty nice, the steak was made perfectly and served with potatoes which were very hot (temperature) to my taste, needed to wait long time until I could eat the potatoes. Generally this restoration...is recommended.

I have eaten here a few times and have yet to be disappointed. It is also a favorite with my local colleagues. It is an éclectique menu. I have never been unhappy with the fish or the salads. The wine and the service match. It...is not a large place, so reservations are recommended.

Ein guter Tip an sonnigen und warmen Tagen ist das Veritas. Die Terrasse unter Bäumen, luftig und gemütlich. Sehr einladend. Die Küche frisch und mediterran. Sehr gut die Salate, Pasta, Fisch und Desserts. Also Alles. Drinnen ist es nicht so hübsch daher ein Punkt Abzug. Ansonsten fünf Sterne View menu

We had a group work dinner at Veritas and enjoyed the experience very much. Located in a beautiful building on a square it certainly looks interesting on arrival and the interior is equally good. The menu selections are very good and the quality of the...food was high. The service was equally good and attentive. Overall a very nice evening.

Spent a couple of hours here with colleagues and had a great time. Ordered broiled Durade fish with a cream sauce and rice. Others had Zander and steak. All looked delicious. Service was the usual, German style. Not super friendly, but reasonably efficient. The building...is in one of the former barracks if the old US base. Would go back with family

I place this restaurant somewhere in the points range. The food was really nice with a wide selection of meat, fish, seafood, and vegetarian, prepared at high quality. The service was good. There is ample free parking. Be ready to order three courses to...be satisfied and to shell out around for that not including drinks. Seit Anfang 2016 kennen und lieben wir das Veritas. Nachdem meine Frau es mehr zufällig entdeckt hat, waren wir regelmäßig zu allen Jahreszeiten da, mit Freunden und Familie. Und in der ganzen Zeit sind wir nie unzufrieden vom Tisch aufgestanden. Es gibt gute Weine, lecker Pasta, Fleisch und Fisch, auch ein paar vegetarische Gerichte. Es sollte also jeder etwas finden, um zufrieden satt zu werden. Und auch beim Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis konnten wir bisher noch nicht meckern.

Had a business dinner here as part of a large group and was only allowed to have pre-ordered food from extremely limited menu as a result. Staff refused to serve anything else from a la Carte menu (as an extra for couple of people) which...I found ridiculous as they could have made more money if they did. Food was okay, but service very slow and there was definitely a rather big language barrier. Asked for glass of champagne and was served glass of white wine with some stuff swimming in it. Staff could also be more friendly. It doesn’t take much effort to smile or at least not try walking away while someone is talking to you. Would not return

Wir haben uns am ersten Juni 2017 Wochenende für ein Sommerfest im Veritas in Ettlingen mit Familie und Freunden (ca. 50 Personen) getroffen.Von Apritif über Vorspeisen, Hauptgerichten, Barbeque bis zum mitternächtlichen Dessert und Käsebuffet gab es alles was das Herz begehrt. Mit ausgewählten, wirklich sehr guten, spanischen und italienischen Weinen (Weingut J. Pariente, Aranda del Duero/Spanien Varietal Verdejo, trocken und Weingut Vigne & Vini aus Leporano/Italien Primitivo del Salento, I.G.T) wurde das Essen begleitet.Die frisch gegrillten Meeresfrüchte und Tomahawk Steaks waren phänomenal.
