Good restaurant for business and private events, as well for a solo dinner. The owner is often in the room advising the guests and setting the mood. A bit pricey but worth it

We stopped in Ettlingen on our way to Switzerland. We stayed in the hotel next door and had dinner in Hartmaiers villa. Great food, wine and service. A really pleasant surprise. Next time we will stop here again View menu

We did not have a reservation but received a warm welcome. The amuse was excellent and the food was well prepared, served by well trained staff. They were willing to adapt an appetiser as a main course which was a pleasant surprise

The room is nice looking, the meals are done with really fine ingredients. The serving team is taking care of you exactly when needed. The cooking is mixing soft and crunchy textures in a perfect way. The desserts are perfect and coffee served in a...generous way... Many plates are French or Italian style also. A good mix of international kitchen... I highly recommend

The restaurant is located at the very northern end of the Black Forest in Ettlingen which is close to the city of Karlsruhe. The chef‘s portfolio ranges from traditional German cuisine, always with a twist, to very modern and creative dishes. My personal favourite is...the „amuse bouche menu“, a very varied sequence of courses. The restaurant is headed by Mr. Hartmaier who is a very polite and attentive host and so is the rest of the staff. Their wine recommandations always hit the spot. If you are looking for a fine dining venue around Karlsruhe with reasonable prices and high quality to cost ratio, this is the place View menu
