"with so many exciting new restaurants opened in london, it can be easy to forget the wonderful ones that have been for years. wild honey has been open in Mayfair since 2007 and I remember having an amazing meal a few years ago, but never visited again. but a weekend the location of the restaurants made it an ideal place to lunch. after the success of their Soho restaurant followed arbutus, owners anthony demetre and wants smith in mayfair with wild honey. the concept was the same; high-quality eating, but without the price tag of londons michelin played restaurants. the combination of wills front of the home skills and anthonys cooking meant that wild honey...read more"

While the food was mostly excellent, I feel the service here could do with some attention.

Because we had such a positive experience at Arbutus last week , Jon and I decided that we would try out Wild Honey , which is Arbutus's sister restaurant. And I'd be lying if I said that I didn't care that Wild Honey opened to rave reviews a few months a

Food was ok. Environment is very comfortable. Took the advantage of £5 corkage fee to bring my own red wine to perfectly go with the beef. The main course is good but doesn't really surprise me. The desserts are amazing by look and by taste, especially the chocolate fondant which is divine.

I must say that I had high expectations for my dinner at the michelin star wild honey, and unfortunately my experience, although very good my expectations was not fair. overall good experience, but what I expect from a Michelin star restaurant. I have to say the duck was the highlight of the night and I loved it

So I decided to try Wild Honey on a whim. I had heard good things about it from others I know and wanted to find out how it was for myself. Located near a restaurant I particularly like, the Square, the area seems to be a massive hub of fine dining in Mayfair. A very civilized location among the period architecture but too bad the houses are out of my reach. I guess I will just have to imagine I live there while chowing down at the neighbourhood restaurants.

in this abhorrent period of chrimbo-limbo between christmas and new years, on my first day back at work we decided to treat ourselves to an evening meal. as I am sure they have already guessed, it was wild honey, a beautiful leather combed, dark wood clad restaurant served seasonal farewell, fine eating without the preference. they like to say without the price mark that applies to the lunch and breakfast menu, but I feel when referring to the a la carte prices, this is obviously more subjective and depends on their budget.

To give you more of an idea as to what kind of diner I am, this is one of the most high-end restaurants I’ve been to, lured by a certain case of “Masterchef” food porn. I am a student, if you haven’t guessed already! (Damn, I need to finish that About Me page sharpish Whilst I’ve been to a few Michelin star restaurants, both on the high end and low end of the price spectrum, in Hong Kong you can get Michelin for the amount you pay for Five Guys! Wild Honey is one of the first where I felt the need to be a bit more “prim and proper”, not helped by a large group of smartly dressed waiters standing courteously towards the side...read more
