"my wife and I had reserved a table for 2 at the weekend in the rebstock. we wanted to have dinner there, as we found the ambiente of the winzerstube nice on the morning at a walk. but the waiter did not find any reservations. his colleague offered us a table in free, which we liked to accept. after that, nothing happened 10-15 minutes. we were only allowed to ask for drinks (it was quite warm) and to order food. there were other guests who all got their drinks after a while. 35 minutes after arriving we complained where our drinks would remain. Answer: come in the same way. After another 8 minutes we went, as other guests who came after us got their drinks. but we still do not. 2 other guests who have come along the whole have also been up and gone because they did not want to do these waiting times....We have not enjoyed any other service. simply underground."

If you had asked me before, as I imagined a winzerstube, I would have described the winzerstube "to rebostock". idyllic, rustic and very cozy. a well-selected weeping card that comes with the one or the other surprise that made us smile (see recommended by the employee). we spent a nice evening here.

a fixed station is the winzerstube. we favor the smaller buds, such as the soft bread basket or the homemade spice meat to an always good wine from a good wine selection. we mostly pause here on the way from the outer new town to our hotel near Frauenkirche. in dresden, we weren't right if we weren't here.

We spent one night in Dresden and wanted a German meal in new town. Winzerstube "Zum Roberstock" was perfect for what we were looking for. The wine was good, the soups were great, and the rolled beef and schnitzel were a bit dry but had great flavor. The host was very nice, spoke English, and provided a menu in English.

I had looked up restaurants near my hotel which was just as well or we would have missed this, it is hidden down a side alley. It was small with a nice atmosphere-one woman seemed to be doing all the serving but was very efficient and kitchen staff came out with meals occasionally to help.I had trout, which made a change after all the pork dishes.Well worth looking for.

Lovely hidden gem in the backyard of the artistic area in Dresden. The food was excellent, I tried the typical German Roulade, hearty and yummy ! Next to the on spot service and the lovely setting, I believe offering 40 different regional and overseas wines by glass is something you won't find that easy.I read somewhere they have been awarded for the best wine locality in Dresden. Will definitely be back !

we chose the beautiful terrace in the backyard for our dinner. the wine prices are relatiw high, but perhaps appropriate for dresden. the service made a very competent impression, this impression we had to quickly revise. our salads were disappointing: brown leaves, from the gratined goat cheese the paper had to be partially peeled off, the dressing naja, taste. this does not necessarily increase the pleasure, especially in a local that wants to awaken a raised impression. the waiter then also cleared the dish decorated with brown salad leaves and paper from the goat cheese roll without comment. we then ordered the bill, the drinking money stayed out.

"I stayed at the hotel in which this restaurant is situated, it is on the 5th floor, and I passed it a couple of times but it was always empty. One reason, I think, is that the menu is rather obscure, with slashes between the dish description as inscallop/saffron/guava/back puddingA little off- putting, I felt. However, as a lone diner, I was getting pretty fed up of waiting for bad food each evening, although in a beautiful setting, Dresden's main square and its surrounds. So on my last night I treated myself and got a table on the roof terrace. The waitress was very helpful and friendly, and produced a good selection of bread. It's clear there are 5 courses, an appetiser, a hot starter, a soup course, a main and dessert. I didn't want the soup. This wasn't a problem. To start, I had quail's egg/chick/gorgonzola/rocket, but it was so much more than that! It had a delicious fried bread cube, a gorgonzola sorbet, and crumbled herbs to garnish. It was, superb. But the description is selling itself short! The hot starter was also good, scallops in a saffron sauce, with a black pudding jelly. The "guava" ends up on the dish as a smear, nothing more. My main was beef/capers/sour cherries/ smoked aubergine, but again, more- a delicious sauce, and perfect mash- a small amount, but perfect....There are 3 dessert options, I enjoyed a nougat with gold leaf. In all, the food was beautifully presented, and the best food in Dresden so far, on a par, that is, with Kallemeiers where you have to book a table. This place deserves the same popularity but is selling itself short with the odd menu descriptions. It scares people off, like myself. I urge you to go and try for yourself. There's a great evening to be had, in a stunning setting."
