Food was divine, ambience was charming and homely, service was impeccable. It's wise to book in advance if going there on a weekend since they're always fully booked! We're going back there tomorrow for dinner, yipeee! :)

I had pork roasts in beer sauce with pork dumplings and a side salad. I found everything very delicious. The sauce tasted like everything else. The food was hot when it came to the table. I had a dark beer from the barrel and then a Riesling from the Rheingau. The service was polite and inconspicuous as I like it. Everything was round.

We like to go there to eat good food. There is a rustic space and the conservatory. The conservatory is beautifully open and our favorite place. The rustic part is a question of taste - but not negative, but a preference for the ambience. Operation always has a beautiful smile, is attentive and fleee. The food is excellent - a great praise for the kitchen. If many people are in the restaurant, of course it takes a little longer with food, which is completely understandable, because who wants good food will also be rewarded with every bite to wait: So, Conclusion: Go and let it taste:

This restaurant has it all – good food, excellent and friendly service and a great atmosphere. In fact, you can choose from three atmospheres: the glass-fronted section is quieter and more spacious, the inside section is cosy, more pub-like, or in summer you can sit out in the garden.The menu has a broad range and the prices are extremely reasonable. We personally like the steaks but have never been disappointed, whatever we have chosen. The desserts are delicious. Warning: the portions are very generous!At the weekend it is best to make a reservation to be on the safe side.We have been coming here for several years – and shall continue to do so.

I turned up at the Wirtshaus at 7.30 on a Friday evening with my wife and daughter, with no reservation. The place was buzzing and busy but we were found a table near the bar and given menus straight away. My response to the question about drinks made it clear my German was limited and the friendly waitress immediately came back with a copy of the menu in English. Food and drink prices seemed very reasonable with a good range of both.We ordered our drinks and they came with the accompaniment of bread and sour cream spread?
