"Greek food is fairly ubiquitous throughout Germany and the quality runs the gamut. Pella ranks near the top in terms of menu selection, taste, presentation and price. Owner and chef Dimitri Ypsilandis takes obvious pride in each dish that comes out of his kitchen at their new and welcoming location (Nov. 2012) in the "Alte Mölkerei".The menu has been updated, including the wine list. We enjoyed a Domaine Costa Lazaridi Syrah from Greece that was delicious, in contrast to all of our previous experiences with too-sweet or generally lackluster Greek wines. We ordered the saganaki (fried feta cheese) and the grilled pepperoni peppers, neither of which were greasy and both of which were delicious. The tsatsiki was perfectly balanced with just the right amount of garlic. My main course of grilled chicken skewers was positively addictive and the tomato rice was perfectly seasoned, something most Greek restaurants miss. My husband always orders the "chef's choice" platter (not on the menu), which is created with the freshest available ingredients in the chef's kitchen. That night, it was a delectable mix of fresh seafood, including calamaris that were sauteed in garlic - divine! The chef surprised us with an incredible dessert of thick Greek yogurt with honey and nuts, the perfect ending to a perfect meal.Dmitri and his lovely wife Toula have created a warm and welcoming Greek oasis in the Worpsweder moor. Pella is a can't-miss for anyone in the area!"

"Vom Chef persönlich bedient und kompetent über Zubereitung und Zutaten beraten worden (wo hat man das heutzutage noch?), haben wir während eines Worpswede-Ausflugs mit dem Moorexpress von Bremen, dieses nette Lokal kennengelernt. Die ansprechende kleine Außenterrasse hatte uns spontan angesprochen. Der Chef verriet uns, dass er momentan nur eine kleine Karte habe, weil sein Hauptkoch wegen einer OP ausgefallen sei und er für die Zeit des Ausfalls nicht alle Speisen anbieten könne. Aber die Speisen, die sich gegenwärtig auf der Karte befinden, sind allesamt super. Wir waren zu viert und haben alle etwas unterschiedliches bestellt. Alle waren nach dem Essen zufrieden. Es war nicht nur zufriedenstellen, sondern es war alles sehr gut. Wir hatten den Eindruck, dass alles frisch und vor allem selbst zubereitet worden war. Und genau das ist es doch, was man von einem guten Lokal erwartet! Das Lokal hat den Qualitätstest nicht nur mit Bravour bestanden, sondern ihn übertroffen! Wartezeit vom Platz nehmen bis zur Bestellung kurz, Wartezeit von der Aufnahme der Getränke bis zum Bringen der Getränke 5 Minuten und Wartezeit von der Aufnahme der Essenbestellung bis zum Servieren ca. 20 Minuten. Und alles war sehr gut. Das Dressing des Salats war sogar Weltklasse!"

"General Nature is green and the time has come for land areas. Our first guided us on Easter Monday for lunch in the Hammehütte Neu Helgoland, idyllicly situated at the hamme near Wopswede. The Hammehütte is actively operated, of which also the website testifies (hammehuette.de index.html) and kulinarally relies on the regional cuisine otherwise to be found in the country guest houses on the rivers north of Bremer City. It is remarkable that there are no reports from the Hammehütte. But the unique location on the hamm at the beginning of the Naturschutzgebiet Breites Wasser makes the Hammehütte a worthwhile excursion destination. The audience died and rather a little older. I see the price-performance ratio at good three stars. Operation Several young forces under the direction of the hostess tried for the guests. They waited in white blouses or shirts and waitresses. Very friendly and committed. At the side table a water found the way to the outerwear of a guest. Sure, can happen, but for me a sign of help. Also the finding when clearing that it tasted I found something unusual, avoiding the hospitality. Drinks were supplied without long waiting times. The dishes came to the table very quickly. I had the impression that the kitchen was trying to provide the first guests quickly at the early noon. For a cozy lunch on a holiday a little more time would have been more appropriate. The beverage prices are located at a slightly elevated level: 0.3 l of Pils 2,70 €, water 0.25 l 2.00 € (big bottles are not found on the map and the wines from the small but carefully compiled card start for 0.2 l at 4.70 €. For the service I give good three stars. The menu can be downloaded on the website. At Easter, however, there was a special card slightly different from the standard, on which e.g. the bratwurst specialties I had been happy to find. From Hausmannskost (Rinderroluade for 12,50 € , to some lamb dishes, fish to seasonal alms (spargel, beard liquor was enough to make a clear selection. Around 12:30 a.m. it was to be understood that the lammhaxe that was ordered was out. We first had the wedding soup (4,00 €). The inlay was plentiful, a bit eier punctual. Tastefully based on a rather thread of cattle broth, it was only to settle in the second half of the competition. Then we got the sheep's cheese in potato crust with leaf spinach and beard liquor (11,00 €) and the lamb's tip with roast potatoes (11,20 €). For this purpose, leaf spinach from the TK without kitchen handwriting and a beard liquor sauce. My lamb tip was fried and lean. Taste rather inconspicuous. the roast potatoes from the convenience bag; There was no supplemental salad. The portion sizes were manageable and not saturating for good eaters. A large pepper mill was brought to our request. Overall, I like only 3.25 stars for this. The ambience Here the Hammehütte scores with the charm of a historic half-timbered house. On the website there is a photo gallery showing all the cozy rooms and the large terrace directly at the hammock. There is enough room at the tables. In rustic ambience you feel secure and comfortable. Cleanliness The restaurant is well maintained and the toilets are modern and fresh."

"Wir haben 2 Pizzen zum Abholen bestellt und pünktlich zur genannten Fertigstellung abgeholt. Zuhause (5Min mit dem Auto entfernt) waren die Pizzen beide nicht verzehrbar, da sie völlig trocken und saftlos waren waren!! Festigkeit eines Stück Pappe, gefühlt als ob sie 1 Stunde auf dem Pizzaofen zum Austrocknen gelegen hätten oder wie eine TK-Pizza nach einem Tag...selbst der Käse war fest. Mir ist schleyerhaft, wie das möglich ist, auf jeden Fall keine Empfehlung von uns und, sorry, die nächste Pizza lieber wieder von wo anders."

"In beautiful weather we often come by to sit outside on the mountain road and drink something or eat a little bit. The map is Mediterranean, but also offers typical German dishes such as fish or asparagus (for season). There is always some fresh ciabatta with a delicious homemade dip. The salads with the delicious honey-senf dressing (optionally with chicken breast, steak strips, fish or gratinated goat cheese) are particularly recommended here, but also the various flame cakes (classical, Mediterranean or with salmon). The portions are also plentiful and the quality of the food speaks for itself. Prices are also appropriate. The service is very friendly and attentive, you feel super caressed! We'll keep coming by!"
