The food and drink were great, we came on a Sunday. A really nice gastropub with a blooming, rural atmosphere. Many parking spaces, the fireplaces were illuminated and we had friendly staff to serve us.

Love old pub with a garden, that was heaving on the day we went. We had a bit of a wait before they came and took our order. 2 of our party had ordered the roast and when it arrived it wasn't as hot as we'd like. Given the difficult circumstances, it was ok.

Cosy atmosphere, real fire in the fireplace, attentive, friendly staff. Traditional Sunday dinner, large, well-baked portions, such as real home kitchen. My only little criticism was that the main meal 'was hot', and was a little dry. My W.I.E.T.A would eat there again: 9 10.
