"There are a number of restaurants north east of Rotkreuzplatz. Amongst those I like the Ysenegger for the uncomplicated and easy going drinks and dinner you want after a long day at work. If you don't feel like cooking and want to sit in a cosy yet slightly buzzing atmosphere that is somewhere between a miniature bavarian beer hall and a regular restaurant this would be a good place for you. Food: They serve a few good burgers and I personally like the vegetarian curry. The sweet potato fries that can be ordered with the burgers are also pretty good. You can also order your food as take away.Drinks: Löwenbrau - I think this is something this place should look at since there are some great beers around the area. Only a few doors down you get Ayinger which is certainly my personal favorite.Atmosphere: wood all over makes this very cosy and warm. I like the split between tables for privacy and the longer beer benches in the middle.Sports: They show the Bayern Munich games on Bundesliga and Champions League match days.Service: Always polite and professional. (been there about 20 times since I live in the area)All in all a good place to visit. Enjoy!"

This place is good value for many for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, if you want cozy German/International food. Each time I go to Munich, I go here at least three or four times a week.

O.K food, not cheap. Many alternative restaurants nearby. And don't try to pay with a credit card. Why don't they accept credit cards ? It's a mystery, at least the server cannot answer it.

Has a nice garden and you can dine and wine all day, including breakfast. Music bar as well. So it's a mixture of a German restaurant and an American type of a bar. Good quality for good money.

Typical burger restaurant, with quite good burgers. Good quality of materials, very good tastes and of course, very good options for alcohol and local bavarian beers. Very good option for dinner! View menu

Excellent service, cozy place with great variety of beer and 4 different kinds of french fries. The best flammkuchen ever! On the minus side the rösti with its salad which had a sardine-like taste sauce. To be repeated.

This place is off the beaten track in an area called Neuhausen. It attracts many locals who enjoy a drink or tasty burger after work. The food is hearty and good quality. What's more prices are fair and not too high for Munich standards. Overall the place feels easy going and relaxed. Definitely recommended.

(Bavarian here)The restaurant itself is nice and cosy, the Munich way. The burgers are good but not amazing, they're well worth their (pretty average) price. Not being able to pay with my VISA card is ridiculous tho, I know that credit cards are unpopular in my home country but come on, this is the 21st century. View menu

I went for breakfast with my friends- the place is cute inside. The food was fine, nothing special and the prices good. Only downfall that the waitress did not speak English and there was no menu in English, so we had to find some German speaking friends to help us. I wasn't sure if I should give it 3 or 4 stars, 3 seemed too little and 4 is a little too much- 3,5/5 it is!

Nice interior with potential but rather untidy with loud musak. The service was average to bad, had to wait long time to be served and had to always draw the attention of the waitress. Looks like the focus is on young and pretty instead of experienced and friendly. Toilets were a mess and the view of kitchen that I glimpsed on the way to the WC did not entice me to order any food.

"Indian restaurants are becoming almost as ubiquitous in Munich as Italian restaurants lately, or so it would seem. So why did I give this one get 5 stars? In part because Yelp doesn't allow for half star ratings and I didn't feel right giving four after my wonderful dinner experience there and the excellent meals my guy has had there before me. Kamasutra is close to his work and we had dinner here after him and work friends raved about this place for lunch. They've only been open for about three months but it's a regular lunch stop for them now. One thing I noticed early on, they do not take shortcuts. Great care is put into food and service. The menu is varied, good selection of wine and cocktails too. Service was friendly and attentive from start to finish. The interior is more modern and sleek than most Indian resto's. But what about the FOOD? We were in curry heaven. I had a jumbo shrimp curry and he had a chicken vindaloo. Sauces for both were rich, had complex, nuanced flavors and were not greasy or oily. And when they say spicy, they mean spicy, so for those of you lamenting the lack of proper spice level, make your way here NOW. If you don't want your curry toned down for the German palate, do have some here. Lovely garlic naan, very generous serving of good basmati. Delicious mango cream for dessert and real chai that wasn't syrupy sweet. Kamasutra is a real gem and a welcome addition to Munich."
