"Very poor service, had to ask for drinks, waited ages to get attention of waiting staff. Then waited again for dessert order. The food was itself was good. But overall a disappointing experience for a family meal out. Not sure if there were staffing issues or who was in charge, 2 ladies not in uniform seemed to be, one in particular in a baggy T-shirt and messy hair, did not look like she’d made any effort and did not have have any rapport with customers, maybe she was just having a bad day. Other waiters were friendly and at least trying. Real shame as I’ve eaten here on a number of occasions when the service was very good. Probably won’t visit again, definitely gone downhill."

We were unable to hear what each other were saying as it was too loud.

A pleasant afternoon with the family eating out. Nothing spectacular but good enough with good service.

20min wait for drinks order, starters arrived in good time, then 2hr wait for mains with no apology. Food great, service awful!

We had a very pleasant evening. Lovely meal, pleasant staff. The only down side was that some of the items on the menu had sold out and our table was booked for 7.30pm! View menu

Food was average at best, wife’s main course was delayed as the seabass wasnt cooked, even after a 30 minute wait between starters and mains. And an apology for an apology, I wouldn’t bother eating here again as there is so much choice in Leeds city centre. Spoiled the start to our family evening out.

Never reviewed before but was underwhelmed by today’s experience... Lady who greeted us was very rude and was funny about us booking through this app... another lady came to order our food and stormed off when we asked for a further couple minutes to order decide whether we wanted starters. Other members of staff were ok but won’t be rushing back. Food was decent.

Not a good meal. A bad start as the waiter called my wife darling all the time and was offered when asked not to. The bruschetta was soggy and badly presented. The pizza was not well flavoured and very dry, the calzone, was insipid and also had too much dough. The plums in the crumble were too large and the passion fruit cheesecake had a very soggy bottom. The Nero d’Avola was OK, but the Primitivio was good. View menu

On arrival the restaurant didn't have my booking down but did seat us,drinks took a while to come to the table. The food arrived quickly but was underdone for 2/4 guests, pizza was burnt around the edges and under done in the middle, potato wedges raw...the waiter did say Theyd mention it to the cheif and did take the wedges of the bill. We left dissatisfied with our food and probably wouldn't go to this branche of zizzi again.

We have been to Zizzi’s loads of times without issue but tonight was dreadful. They were just too busy and don’t think they could cope. Ages for drinks do arrive and then wrong wine so had to chase again, fool took over 45 minutes and when it arrived I had to send back as pasta was tasteless (appeared to be overcooked) and the chicken was non existent, but the couple of pieces I did find were just grizzle so ended up having a bottle of wine and garlic bread as we had couldn’t wait for them to re make it. Sorry Zizzi but doubt we will risk coming back again in a hurry.

"My son expressed his desire for a restaurant that wasn't too fancy or too casual. It's always a challenge to gather grown-up sons for celebrations when they are spread out, especially when you're unfamiliar with the restaurants in Leeds. After scrolling for hours and exchanging options, we finally settled on Gallery 41, which happened to have a 20% off deal on all food for certain days in November - perfect for N's birthday. After a long journey and a chilly afternoon at Kirkstall Abbey, we were ready to eat, and boy, did we eat well. The olives were a hit with my sons and husband, while the garlic bread was described as some of the best they'd ever had. The Skin Fries were a crowd favorite, so much so that we almost fought over the last ones. The main dishes were equally impressive, with the meat eaters raving about the Spiced Pepperoni and the Vegetarian option wowing my husband. I couldn't resist the Florentina pizza, a personal favorite of mine. Dessert was a hit as well, with everyone indulging in their sweet tooth. The atmosphere at Gallery 41 was perfect for our family gathering - quiet, cozy, and conducive to good conversation. The staff were attentive and friendly, adding to the overall positive experience. I look forward to returning with the rest of my family and indulging in more of Gallery 41's delicious offerings. In the end, it's the simple things like family, good food, and quality time together that truly matter. Thank you, Gallery 41, for a wonderful dining experience."
