"We last visited Zum whilst my better half was pregnant with our first and have been reminiscing ever since. Staying a couple of kms away we knew the walk there would help us build up an appetite. Arriving just after eight with the heat just...dipping below degrees for the first time in twelve hours the outside seating was full leaving plenty of space inside. The service was warm and welcoming as we remembered, the staff were more than happy to alter plates for the two little ones and, as it was all that time ago, the food was hearty, filling, delicious and filling. The cold Paulaners in the classic steins the perfect companion for the Bavarian fayre so lovingly served here for decades. The, extended, walk back still left us arriving still well and truly stuffed from a triumphant meal. We'll be back hopefully sooner than this return visit."

It is an authentic biergarden, and the atmosphere is rustic old German, and the meal choices are not just traditional, but food is out of this world good!

One of my favorite places to get real bavarian faire at reasonable prices. Great selection of bavarian dumplings and sausages! Meat lover's heaven for sure. Great bavarian beers on tap.

This restaurant serves excellent German food and has very reasonable prices. The famous Schweinshaxe is the way it should be and all the side dishes are very tasty. Very good money for money! View menu

Go to this place for good beer, food is average. They have traditional bavarian food which is too much of meat, crispy pork leg as advertised is not so great (plus watch out for the final price, as the one on the menu is gms)

Took my brother here so he could try some German food. I found it difficult to find something I really wanted to eat on the menu. Settled for a schnitzel which was ok but I've had much better else where. Service was friendly but slow....Would have stayed longer but got fed up with waiting. Didn't like the service charge and that the table next to me had bought a dog in and was feeding it under the table. View menu

Weekend in Berlin May we ran into this restaurant walking back to our hotel and decided to stop.. Very traditional Bavarian home cooked food.. Everything well done to perfection.. Atmosphere relaxed and cosy.. Stuff friendly and helpful.. Beer served in traditional beer mug, cold...and perfect . You walk in and the look is very traditional and authentic Bavarian.. Next time in Berlin I will make sure to visit again... Danke.

I came here with a group of friends after work on a Friday. I wasn't sure how big the group would be, but I spoke to the staff a few days in advance and they were happy to accommodate us by pushing an extra table...over to a lovely (already large) booth. the food was fantastic! everyone was immensely happy with their orders. the Weißwurst looked especially nice and the schnitzel was a crowd pleaser. The beer was excellent, especially the Kellerbier, which I don't always see. All in all it was a lovely evening and I would happily return!
