"I've been to this place three times with friends so far. I actually like it because it is a small restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere. The menu is short (what I prefer a lot more than too many choices) and the value for money is alright. The portions are ok but could be bigger. Regarding the food the prices are acceptable. However, the beverages are too expensive in my eyes (especially the vine)! The main reason why I will NOT visit this place again is because every single time we had an beverage (coffee or Weißbier) on our check that we definitely haven't had. I always asked to get my money back what eventually happened after more or less discussion. But you also tried to return 2,5 € instead of 4 € once. Is that the price for complaining about a wrong check?I worked for years as a service in restaurants. I know that can happen and I appreciate that you return my money. But then please return the right amount of money, excuse and offer a free coffee for example! That is just disappointing service behavior!"

The Munich Police recommended this place as I walked along the streets close to my hotel. The Schweinebraten was WONDERFUL! The fruit crepe desert was great too.

Been there with a few colleagues recently. The restaurant is very nice&simple in a lovely village-like neighborhood. The menu is limited but with a good choice. Tasty too. The service is good.

Extremely good and tasty food. Very attentive service with delicious local Bavarian beer. Try the Schweinebraten , it's their speciality. Sitting inside and outside worth trying and enjoying the scene around you.

this is a typical bavarian restaurant but where the food is not heavy and the quality of the food very good. next to typical schweinsbraten you get a very good spaghetti bolognese with organic meat, and very good salads.it is on a very small and quiet road and it is especially beautiful during a nice warm summer evening.

Recommended by local tour guide to this neighbourhood restaurant.~40 mins away by foot from Central Station or 20 mins from MarienplatzLocals only place, no English menu. Owner very helpful though and explain each dish one-by-one.Enjoyed traditional deer meat plus a light beer. Nice switch if you already been to huzzle and buzzle of Oktoberfest.

It's an extremely authentic, relaxed place in Munich's Preysingstraße, a cobble stone street with renovated old workers houses. All together it's got a real country side feeling, like being somewhere in a village, while you are just minutes away from the big city buzz. I love to be there, enjoy the atmosphere, the people, the healthy & tasty food, .. This restaurant can be enjoyed in winter and in summer with it's beautiful terrace, recommendable for breakfast till sundowner and dinner.

As a company of 6, we visited this restaurant to discover if there is a fare basis on the cooments posted on tripadvisor. I was merely surprised by the fact that there is only a small menu with 4 entrees, 4 main courses and 3 desserts. We ordered leber-spatzle soup (really tasty for those who prefer it), schweinebraten (amazing) and a plate made by potates and pumpkin (looked like musaka), so tasty! Unfortunately, no pumpkin soup was left (despite the small menu, some plates were finished at 8pm !!!).In conclusion, it is a small, elegant restaurant with a small variety of plates in a nice neighborhood. Tastes are great but please expand the catalogue a bit more!

A local neighborhood restaurant recommended by a friend who lives in Munich. We went there this past week (Aug 4) around 7pm and it was very warm so the best bet is out on the patio/sidewalk. The place was full by the waitress alerted us to an opening table as we had asked when we got there for seating. My wife got the risotto, my kids got a pasta with bolognese and one with just pasta and sauce, all excellent. I got the wurst salad and thought it would have some greens... well, I should have asked but it did have onions and it was very good as well. The waitress was excellent as she helped translate the menu for us. This is definitely a locals place as there were quite a few people coming b...

"my man and I were in a few for a family birthday party. we had some time for us and took public transportation to visit schloss nymphenburg, which was a wonderful excursion also on a windy, wintery afternoon. not quite ready to return to the house...we googled Italian restaurants near me. the one we visited first did not take any plastic. the second location was solo italia. it was a Friday night and the place jumped around 19 o'clock. we didn't even think we were making a reservation, and everyone was taken table. no problem, we could order the cash. it followed several hours of relaxation, delicious eating, weeping and atmosphere. we ordered the green salads that are large, fresh, and most welcome after days very little green on our tellers. pasta bolognese and spaghetti carbonara were excellent. we did not try out the pizzas, although they looked fantastic (and they produced, kept all waiting workers and our bar-tenders very busy to mante the many.) solo italia is a place that prices were much less than the fancier sites round, but the quality of the food was comparable. it was simply a funny, bouncing place. a scream from our barkeeper maurice d. he was very busy with the drinks orders, the semi-trailer pizza and in the regular good work. he still managed to be polite and attentive that we were sitting on his bar. very professional and personal. if they are on the look for a great Italian place outside the Munich city center (but easily reached by tram 25) try solo italia, they have a great time!"
