"this evaluation serves as a follow-up to my last assessment from the summer. we were back to the king a few days ago and I can only say: it was great. as an amuse gueule we received a piquant pumpkin mousse, after which we ordered "gruffled beef carpaccio" - very aromatic and fresh - as well as "fish soup with coriander" - super tasty, delicate crumb fragrance, fresh jacobs - as an appetizer. the two crispy goose bumps of the main course were simply stunning: crispy, braue skin, the delicate meat a lot from the bone - such an excellent cube we have never eaten, the rich berry loaf are homemade and also just delicious. a dessert just didn't fit in anymore, instead we drank an espresso, to which the friendly chefin homemade pralins (!) was enough. although it was very full this evening (in the next room was obviously a big company) the service of frau herbertz and staff as always worked friendly and courteous. after all my visit to the restaurant to the king I can really not understand the critique of "adair168" and can only say: just in a very small local it can happen once that certain dishes are no longer there, this is certainly disappointing, but can just happen. they test "to the king" once again, I think they will be more than satisfied (this type they personally give to a critic of their favourite restaurant)."

at the mineral water you could choose 2 calves grade ~ the food is good and kreatiw -but these prices were not worth - the gas room was very cold - as was the toilets - I was zoomed at 10 €, which I unfortunately noticed too late. Conclusion: never again

the service was when we at the evening quite short-term a table reserved, very friendly and attentive and eating with which one or other vikings can't start anything was great. The ingredients are top class and the preparation would even justify a higher price. We were very satisfied.

a catastrophe: restaurant had 3 guests plus our 20 people in a separate room. the first of our birthday party had finished eating when the last had not even eaten on the table. barely present in the room, although at third (!!) and thus we were always a little thirsty. The food was quite good, dessert (bratapfel) not at all: apfel was ice cold in the interior. not recommended on my part.

we were very pleasantly surprised by this small restaurant. very creative food selection, delicious and hot served. service friendly and accommodating. atmosphere cozy and loving ambiente. we eaten Wagyu-Burger (very nice medium roasted) and a very delicate bark fillet medallion (english medium), both dishes qualitatiw not toss. Conclusion: finally a good restaurant in the "kulinarian desert" solingens. worth it!

So - I listened to the advice and we tried it again, this time with friends. Unfortunately, unfortunately our first impression has confirmed, the service is friendly, but not on the height, the eating sounded good again, but again was partly only lukewarm, meat too through and therefore unfortunately tough. I can only be angry that I have made our friends the suggestion. by the way, they were of the same opinion. that was dessert was good.

the atmosphere is very pleasant, it was Christmas and cozy decorated, the service is friendly and attentive. it was already. we wanted the Christmas with a goose bump - as the goose bump was also standing on the day map at the same time, the cub was unfortunately out. can happen, but should not. the two substitute dishes - callbsröllchen mit spinatspätzle und weidelamm mit kartoffelgrstim und böhnchen - were unfortunately completely next! the lamb was cold, the teller too. it was then heated again in the microwave. the calves were completely dry, also only lukewarm, and the spinat spetlets stuck together in a baptism.

we had ordered a table online and received our desired table promptly. the very friendly waitress (owner)? even helped us out of the hunt and immediately offered us an aperitif. we chose the winter dream, a lekere creation from maracuja and amaretto. the small but very unusual card is supplemented by several, consistently creative daily dishes. we chose fish soup with jacobs mussels (8 euro) and terüffeltes rindercarpaccio with old parmesan (12,50). both dishes very tasty and also visually very beautifully dressed. to the main course there was an Angus-Filetmedaillon to 25 euro and freshly roasted wolfsbarschfilet to 19 euro. also here: both dishes perfectly prepared, extremely tasty and vis...

who is looking for something extraordinary is right here. we were there right at the opening time around 18.00 clock. one table should be booked in any case. The service was very attentive. our four-legged friend also got a bowl with water. As first the gruß aus der koch: delicate but undefined. on demand, we were told what it is. the main dishes, we ordered thirschfiletmedaillons on spicy sauce with fresh apple-red cabbage, roasted egg-spetles and roulade from the meadow calf with rusty, pine nuts and tomato sauce, homemade spinach noodles, soaked sugar-chotes, were perfect.Day we had eaten for lunch already red cabbage no problem: there were groomed sugar-chots on request. perfect. the porti...

a little off, but already after entering the small but fine dining room, the gast embraces a pleasant feeling of well-being. small with approx. 8-9 tables and original decorated. as if you are in the good stubborn and so is the hosting: warm, friendly, good. the menu starts with four menu suggestions that actually cover all desires. all are below €30. the daily or season ticket comes on the tables on the wall. a nice amuse gueule forward lifts the mood and the, legitimate, fortunate to the upcoming. the dishes are very tasteful - also visually, even a smallness like the 'burger süppchen' convince. quality and offer of desserts round off the pleasure. so, everything in all highly recommended....
