You should not be surprised if you cannot get a table reservation here, it is a popular restaurant and you will understand why. We enjoyed the food and Oktoberfestbier with the locals

I came with friends on a Wednesday evening without reservation and got almost the last table, so I would book the book again well during the week. I am vegetarian and was happy to find Veggie options on the menu (sometimes have traditional German pubs. not even one) the veggie schnitzel was great, with chips and salat, it can not mistake the drinks were inexpensive the waiter was the highlight, really friendly and did his best, although he was alone on such a busy evening, he was attentive and crisp at the same time. I am definitiw back.

This beautiful building is the home of a wonderful restaurant which is very popular with local people, particularly on Sundays. It is, apparently, the oldest in Eberbach. The menu includes plenty of choices for a variety of diets including vegetarians. Despite there being only one...member of staff waiting on tables, service is quick, relaxed and friendly. The wine list includes several local choices by the glass or by the bottle. There's also a decent beer selection and plenty of choice of digestifs. Prices are low, notwithstanding the high quality of the offer. There are several nice places to eat in Eberbach but it is really hard to ignore this place

the fish dish very small filet, too salty, too oily, the white asparagus with pancakes very disappointed, the pancake could have used more egg, very dense and acidic, and the aspargus was not properly peeled, not only a few pieces, but from them not edible. I mentioned it until the waitress that the meal was disappointing; but no excuse.
