"the local is rather inconspicuous from the outside. inside reveals the good taste at the decoration: the tables are beautifully covered in red and white, the ambiente is very pleasant. on the menu you will find not only products from the region, but also organic products: from flour for pizzas to organic wines from italy. at the beginning a great garlic majonnaise is served, and our gnocchi and pizza with rucola and salmon were very good. In addition, we got 3 different organic peppers in the mill to season. we're coming back!"

"Or how Hänschen Rosenthal, the Unforgettable, would call out: That was a top! . On the occasion of her birthday last Wednesday, at the same time our wedding day, my dear wife had wished for a special gift from me this time.:one Invitation to a lunch or dinner. But hello, that was easy. She celebrated her birthday famille in the Saarbrücker Naccarato (see report, which was quite in the pants thanks to the witty cooperation between service and kitchen, this time it should not be the quietest trace of any problems in terms of gift initiation. Therefore, the redeeming site had to be a safe bank and I spontaneously fell into Hämmerle ́s restaurant in Blieskastel Webenheim. Mme. Simba nodded and I was hanging on my PC to make the reservation. For a little over a year, you can book the hammers via the Open Table System; the sorry reservations of previous days on the phone with Ms. Hämmerle are therefore Gottseidank over. the desired date entered in the system and the blank hours still available for this day are already shown; a crippled out, send the reservation request and no two minutes later the reservation confirmation is available. zero problemo; one day before the selected date, Open Table will report once again with the request whether the appointment is also perceived; very reasonable, because as you know, time and again booked appointments are not perceived by guests. Of course, I confirmed our coming and so yesterday we landed at the hammers just before 12:15. Ms. Hämmerle, who occasionally also uses hand in the service, was just at the reception when we arrived. I called our name and appointment, she confirmed after a look at her list and read us the choice between a table in the outside or an inside. If we had chosen the outside area, we would have seen one of my band mates and wife; we decided, in view of the high outside temperatures, for indoors, where we still had the free choice under several twoer tables. Half an hour later, however, the last tables were occupied inside and out. My dear wife had already decided in terms of appetizer and main dish at home after a look at the hammers HP and the menu shown there: Assiette Gourmand (EUR 22,00 and original Wiener Schnitzel vom Kalb mit Preiselbeeren, Gurkensalat und Pommes Frites (EUR 28,00). I loved at this time with our fish soup with fine fish,Aioli and kilncroustini (EUR 14,00 and also the Wiener Schnitzel; both dishes I had eaten here at the last visit and had been bright on. However, yesterday I decided differently on site for the three-course menu of the day(depending on the choice between EUR 35.00 and EUR 49.00; I took the variant to EUR 45,00. The cards were handsome, shortly afterwards the young Italian waiter appeared to ask for our drinks. As usual, the service personnel (two at the number plus service manager Ms. Hämmerle don't have any specific tables to serve, especially all care about the complete area and the very friendly, competent, reliable and flotted. Up! My dear wife first drank a sprite (EUR 3.00 and for eating Teinacher Sprudel (also EUR 3.00). As a starter, I had a Karlsberg Ur Pils (EUR 3.40 and then two Auxerrois (EUR 5,00 for 0.1l from my Alsace favourite Armand Gilg from Mittelbergheim, who is represented with his cremants as well as several different wines, including my personal favorite, the Riesling Grand Cru Zotzenberg, on the Hämmerle wine card. Unfortunately, there is only the Zotzenberg here as a bottle wine. Either way, even the Auxerrois had quite Gilgh quality. The open wines are always very well presented here; a finger width above the calibration line is the rule. Amuse Bouche was as often the very tasty mini flame cake; the liquid component in the glass was this time a tomato gazpacho. My treasure was very fine and I survived the Tomatige. The Assiette Gourmande was a very successful mix of samples. Set on a plate were a small terrine with fish soup, a homemade spring roll, a sample with gratinated goat fresh cheese, a bowl with North Sea crabs and in the middle throned a pancopanized fried giant clove on a lentil bed. Everything is extremely fine in taste and the EUR 22,00 called for it is worth it. However, in the fish soup was a spice that brought Mme.Simba to cough several times. Unfortunately, Mr Hämmerle, when he stood at our table at his round to keep the usual chatter to ask him for this spice; I will fade on the internet after that. The Wiener Schnitzel, which my treasure had as the main dish, was without fault and tadel; the cucumber salad with very good dressing and the pommes frites perfectly seasoned and extraordinarily crispy. Between appetizer and main dish was served a ball blood orange red wine sorbet, even without whipped cream first cream. When Dessert pour Madame there was a bullet mint basil Sorbet, which was very praised by her. In addition to the three-course summer menu for EUR 67,00 and the Bliesgau menu for EUR 44,00 (both in unchanged form around the year there is also the three-course menu of the day (everything has to go! Be careful. Of a kind used in the manufacture of fruit or vegetables I decided with the fish soup Sylter Art, the Dorade Saltimbocca and the waffles. The fish soup Sylter Art, which my wife had as a small version and during her consumption she had to cough on several occasions due to a spice not clearly identified by us (I tip once on turmeric, did not bring me to cough; I just found her great. It was slightly ally, excellently seasoned, and it had not been saved on fish or on North Sea crabs as a deposit; both had been given to soup with full hands. Some shells would have put the crown on the whole. Also about Calamares or Pulpo I would have been very happy, but these animals, as we know, do not swim in the sea around Sylt. The Dorade Saltimbocca was of the Most Feminist; a very nice well roasted piece of fish with crispy skin covered with sage and ham; all draped on a spinach bed. I was thrilled, but instead of the very well made roast potatoes, I would have liked the perfect fries that my dear wife had for her carving. To talk to the Stones: You Can't Always Get What You Want. The waffles formed a successful conclusion for me; it was after a very successful meal shortly after 3 p.m., when we left the gas house very satisfied and pleasantly saturated after paying the bill. Conclusion: Once more we were very satisfied in Hämmerle ́s restaurant; we may be reopening here on the occasion of the Bliesgau Lamb Week. P.S. Unfortunately, I forgot to photograph my fish soup Sylter Art, and I was not able to insert captions; the text changes to this, but this time, when you click on the finished subtitles to secure them, nothing is happening. system errors ? P.S.P.S. Carving images I pushed under UserPhotos; I didn't know how to get her into the post afterwards : ."

"We visited the “Alt Schmidd” after a walk through Blieskastel’s Old Town. The restaurant is located in a very beautiful historical building, the former forge. The decor has already come a little into the years and the walls could put a new paint. I guess this hasn't changed much in the last 20 years. Nevertheless, you feel comfortable in the original ambience. Service The greeting was very friendly and the two young waiters during our stay at Alt Schmidd were unobtrusively attentive and fluttering on the way. Food With happy hour and daily specials such as Monday “Schnitzel L bis XXL” or Wednesday “Spaghetti All You Can Eat” for 5 € is to be addressed rather younger audience. The fast-paced folding menu, reminiscent of a fast-paced restaurant, offers a great selection of soups, baguettes, pasta, flame-cake, salad and meat dishes. We chose the Alt-Schmidd Chefsalat at €10.50 and the Alt-Schmidd Grillteller at €17.50. The chief salad, ordered with vinegar oil dressing, consisted of leaf and raw food salads with turkey strips and mushrooms. The meat was not entirely fried as “small” as announced in the map, some pieces of meat were also strongly cartilaged. The salad leaves were too large as with the side salad to the grill plate and had to be divided several times with the knife. The vinegar oil dressing tasted a little too fad like the cream dressing of the side salad. Here you can taste “more graceful” by E. The raw food salads, carrots and radish were fine, as were the fresh mushrooms. The grill plate consisted of 3 steaks of beef, turkey and pig with herbal butter, with grilled tomatoes, roasted onions, pommes and side salad. The grilltomates baked with bacon and cheese tasted excellently, there is nothing to migrate even on the pommes and roast onions. Only the quality and preparation of the steaks could not convince. The turkey steak was still quite neat, but the beef steak grows on the edge and, probably, not long hanging and roasted too long, not very tender. The pig steak falls through. Too thin and too long fried it was clearly too hard and dry. There's still air up here. Beverages: absolutely try Blieskasteler Klosterbräu Conclusion: rustic ambience, restaurant with “specials” more adapted to young audiences, kitchen serves lush portions, the ingredients are fresh, but in preparation air is up"
