"We visited the Kluse restaurant on Sunday for lunch following a couple of succesful visits (good food, nice atmosphere). We hadn't booked a table, it was warm and we were told that we could sit outside which was pleasant (and they provide fleece blankets if you feel the cold). My husband ordered a pork schnitzel which was okay, I had ordered a salad which sounded better (on the menu) than it looked on the plate when it eventually arrived: it was a mixture of salad, lots of corn on the cob (tasteless), salad trimmings, far too much sauce which had gathered at the bottom of the plate which was decorated with large potato wedges. There was a large skewer of grilled prawns and bits of chicken. The quality of the ingredients was fine, the composition of the plate looked like a mixture of anything that could be found in the kitchen. It took exactly an hour from ordering our food to the meals arriving on the plate - it would have been appreciated if someone had told us at the time of ordering that patience was the order of the day. It would have been better if they had supplied a basket with bread and rolls. Perhaps it was an 'off-day' in the kitchen, the food was not as good as we remembered it from previous visits - it's a lovely setting and it would be a pity if the place went downhill."
