"My wife and I went to this restaurant with my German cousins, on their recommendation. I am glad we did ! Between the four of us we ordered separate dishes from the meze options, a bottle of retsina and beers plus two sofr...drinks. The food was excellent , the wine and beers well kept and presented. The owners are friendly and attentive towards their customers. The total bill of about euros was great value. I thoroughly recommend this authentic restaurant which is as popular with Greek and German locals, as it is a pleasure to discover as a tourist. It is popular so arrive early or book a table at weekends."

"Bedienung und Service höflich und gut. da ich bisher nur Pizza, Salat und Tortellini gegessen habe, kann ich auch nur darüber was sagen. Preis Leistung vollkommen ok. Die Pizzas sind eigentlich gut, so wie man sie vom Italiener kennt. Die Tortellini Gorgonzola waren auch sehr lecker. Beim Salat hatte ich auch nichts zu meckern War frisch und lecker. Die Pizza Stücke sind optimal für den kleinen Hunger zwischendurch, finde ich fast schon besser als die runden Pizzen. Vom gesamten Geschmacklichen Eindruck ist die Qualität das beste was es an Pizza und pasta in der Pontstraße gibt. Die anderen sind zwar billiger, aber dafür con der Qualität auch schlechter."

"I went with a group of friends. Found it by accident and we were so glad we did. Fantastic salads, pizza and pasta. A friend of the owner was sitting at the next table and we asked what he was having, which looked amazing...but wasn't on the menu and the owner cooked it for us too. It was wonderful. We had huge amounts of food, wine and beer and the bill was for five of us. Incredible value. The owner even sent out sambuccas on the house. Staff also attentive, cheerful and friendly."

"Delicious pizza of Roman kind. Compared to the other pick-up/delivery pizzas, the best in this corner of Aachen. Crispy ground and a delicious tomato sauce. The ingredients are above-average, but do not play in the top class such as O'FRA. For my taste, some more unusual ingredients should be on the list. I particularly recommend the Pizza 39 Coco (Spinat, Gorgonzola, red onions, Parmesan), a really round composition of intense tastes. Also fits well with the 36 bufala with additional rocket, which offers a quiet and fresh counter pole. The restaurant is less suitable for a dinner as it is quite small and regularly people come by to pick up. The pizza is produced and baked in front of the guests and the kitchen is also clear. Both made a hygienic and neat impression on me. The pizza was ready within the time announced by phone. Unfortunately, no card payment is possible."

"We booked this restaurant well in advance of our visit to Aachen as it looked very authentic and had great reviews. On arrival we were warmly greeted by the very tall barman who I think was probably the ownermanager? We were soon seated by our...waitress and both decided on schnitzels with potatoes and a stein of lovely lager. The waitress then bought us out gorgeous bowls of salad which apparently you get with whatever you order......bonus! Our schnitzels were both amazing and melt in your mouth, not at all dry as they can be in some restaurants as were the potatoes. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated and the ambience is very nice and relaxed. After an all too brief minutes or so we left feeling we had had a typical German meal in a proper German restaurant where the locals go not just not just one set up for tourists. Danke"

"Das Restaurant liegt mitten in Aachen - Richterich an alten Markt. Wenn man draußen sitzt, schaut man auf hübsche blühende Kirschblütenbäume, einen kleinen Vor- und großen Parkplatz sowie Wohnbebauung.Innen ist das Ambiente eher durchschnittlich, sprach mich jetzt nicht so an, da es wenig räumliche Unterteilungen gibt und der Raum sehr groß wirkt.Der Service ist sehr freundlich und nett, eher unaufdringlich und somit sehr angenehm. Es wurde rasch serviert, man hat zu keiner Zeit das Gefühl, zu weiteren Bestellungen gedrängt zu werden.Die Vorspeisen waren sehr, sehr gut und außergewöhnlich schmackhaft! Als Hauptgericht hatten wir verschiedene Geflügel und Fleischgerichte. Bis auf die Ente, die recht trocken war, waren alle Speisen sehr lecker und ansprechend. Saucen können ohne Berechnung nachbestellt werden.Der Dessert war lecker, wir hatten unter anderem mehrere Eisspeisen, hier ist aus meiner Sicht ohne große Bemühungen eine wesentliche Verbesserung möglich, wenn das Eis nicht mehr in Suppentellern serviert wird, das wirkt eher lieblos. Generell hat mich beim Geschirr gestört, dass viele Schalen, Teller etc abgestoßene Ränder oder Ecken hatten, das wirkt einfach ungepflegt. Als Abschluss den leckeren vietnamesischen Kaffee, für den man allerdings Zeit mitbringen muss.Ich finde das Viet Haus durchaus empfehlenswert, allerdings steht dann gutes Essen im Vordergrund, weniger das "Erlebnis, nett Essen zu gehen". Hier sollte man auch noch mal auf die günstige Mittagskarte erwähnen."

"I was in Aachen on a Sunday night staying at the brand new Hampton Hilton just outside town and was looking for a decent restaurant open on a Sunday night. I checked the Michelin guide to see which restaurants were open and then Trip Advisor to see what people recommended. I went on the websites for both places to look at the menus. I had thought about going to the Haus am See but Reuters House was very close to my hotel so I decided to check it out first and after seeing the nice setting and studying the menu I decided to stay there.You can sit outside as it's on a pedestrian street but I chose to sit just inside. I wanted to sit on the banquette and the restaurant manager Mr Creutz kindly gave me a table for four although I was alone so I didn't dare complain about the glass of Sekt being completely flat.I chose the 5 course menu for €55 which I found to be excellent value for money. All the dishes were beautifully presented and delcious. I started with the beef tartar then had the gazpacho which was tasty but I found the portion to be really tiny. Another ladle would probably have satisfied me.I then had the gnocchi which would have been much better without the blood sausage. After that I had the sea bass which was excellent and then I had a mixture of mini desserts which were very good.I had a bottle of white wine and was impressed by the wine prices which were extremely reasonable - 24 euro for a bottle of Gavi di Gavi.So, everything was great but...the Greek waiter needs to get intimate with a bar of soap, if possible in his shower, and buy a good anti-perspirant, one whiff of his armpits was enough to completely put me off my dinner.And Mr Creutz, I hope you will offer me a glass of Sekt the next time I come to make up for the flat one I had.Otherwise, I loved this restaurant, would give it a star and will definitely come back."

"Die Mittagspause, die man macht, wenn man als Student in der Bib sitzt, sollte schon etwas besonderes sein... "Bibimbap, bitte- mit einer Cola!" ist dann die wirkliche Aufmunterung des ganzen Tages. Es schmeckt herrlich mit der roten Soße aus der Monster Tube (Ja rot bedeutet scharf). Außerdem schmeckt die Kombi vom kalten und knusprigen Gemüse auf den leckeren warmen Reis. Man mischt es ja bekanntlich durch und die schöne Struktur des Essen geht kurz hinüber (also für das Auge). Wenn es doch zu scharf war, kann man an der Miso Suppe nippen, die man zu Bibimbap immer gratis dazu bekommt.Die Besitzer sind goldig und zuvorkommen. Naja, ist ja auch dann Self-Service! Und wenn man draußen sitzt und sie nicht hört, kommen sie auch an den Tisch. Empfehlenswert für den kleinen und großen Hunger."

"the polonia is located in the immediate vicinity of the pontstraße or university. as the name says, there are in the polonia Polish specialties, but there are also dishes from international cuisine. the special on the polonia is the student week action: every day there is a court in addition to a small drink free, so for example on Friday to piroggi or on Monday to spices specialities. the menu offers two page selections: besides various specialties of poln, such as krakauer, kohlrouladen, gulasch or piroggi there are also typical suppening and Polish beer. otherwise there are pizza, gyro dishes, carvings, salads and specialties. I find it particularly noteworthy that despite the moderate prices it is quality meat from the metzger, for example the very tasty curry sausage in a juicy sauce or the carving that the workers before their eyes prepare in a huge pan with a tight. in the evening, especially in winter, the suppe are very tasty, for example the Polish tomato soup. if they come to the polonia with several young people to watch football, it is also of advantage that there is a quite large selection of different Polish and international beers. what I like about polonia is before the alem the family atmosphere, which is very friendly by the owners and the workers. all employees speak fluent Polish also very good German."

"we've been in this restaurant two times. the first time was in february 2015 and we had the luck to have found it on the evening they had a fishbuffet. it was excellent! the waiter was the flat image of ron howard 'oppy taylor' when ron was in his twenties. recently we found ourselves again in the same way and turned us on the way to the hotel restaurant. When we arrived at dinner, the owner just wanted to bring us to our table when oppy came to us and said, "more like last time." Well, that was a premiere. we were only once in this restaurant, and that about eight months ago, and he remembered us and what table we had sat on. amazing. Anyway, we ordered the fresh muscheln a la crème as an appetizer (generally served as a main dish) that we shared. it was excellent! we should have ordered two muddles as a lead. we didn't do it because we wanted to try the jagger schnitzel - we were not in Germany during the holidays and were really looking for authentic German food. unfortunately the jaggerschnitzel were not so good. the sauce was quite dark; we are used to seeing jagger carving with a lighter sauce. the sauce was also very salty. the carvings themselves look as if they had not been properly panned, as if the carvings had hardly touched the eggs. to be fair, we had divided ourselves a large portion of a whistle, and perhaps therefore our criticism at the main court would have been a bit stronger than it would have been otherwise. this is a wonderful restaurant and service could not be better. it is also cheap. If we could have given 4 1/2, we would have done it. it stands on our list of places we can always return to. next time, we won't order so much."

"Fangen wir mit etwas Positivem an: Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und schnell, auch das Ambiente hat durchaus seinen Charme.Das Essen war geschmacklich gut wenngleich es mich nicht vom Hocker gehauen hat. Die Portion war jedoch auch für ein gehobenes Restaurant sehr unverschämt klein: Mein Hauptgericht hat 14€ gekostet und etwa 100g Fleisch (Schwein, kein Angus-Rind oder dergleichen!) sowie einen Hauch von Tagliatelle enthalten. Am Ende habe ich über 50€ für 2 Personen bezahlt und musste noch in die nächstgelegene Pizzeria, da überhaupt keine Sättigung vorhanden war. Ich habe natürlich kein Monster-Portionen erwartet, aber zumindest sollte man doch wohl bei dem Preis anschließend halbwegs satt sein. Eine Vorspeise hatte ich im übrigen auch noch, was es nicht unbedingt besser macht.Eine weitere Sache, die ich leider negativ Anmerken muss: Die Tische waren deutlich zu hoch bzw. die Stühle zu niedrig und das sage ich als >1,9m großer Mann, ich weiß nicht, wie kleinere Menschen das empfinden.Aufgrund der genannten Punkte werden wir wohl leider nicht nochmal ins Frascati gehen."

"Das 4 Gänge Menü war ausgezeichnet - Preis 83€ ist ein bisschen hoch angesetzt, mit unter weil der Hauptspeise eine sehr kleine Portion war. Über Qualität und kreativität gibt es nur gutes zu melden - Chapeau!Das Personal wie immer sehr zuvorkommend und locker.Was mich aber kollosal stört ist der Preis einer Flasche Wasser von 12,50€, wobei hier auch nicht gefragt wird ob, wenn der erste Flasche leer ist, die 2. Flasche geöffnet wird und eingeschenkt wird. 12,50€ für eine Flasche Wasser ist meiner Meinung nach echt unverschähmt. Leider trübt so etwas das ganze restlich positive Erlebnis des Essens."
