"Heel teleurstellend dit bezoek! We zijn niet eens aan eten toegekomen omdat we door de serveerster werden weggestuurd. We arriveerden 7 minuten voordat het restaurant opende en vroegen aan de serveerster of we met vier personen konden eten. Zonder antwoord te geven op de vraag of dat kon kregen we te horen dat het restaurant nog niet open was en dat ze nog 5 minuten nodig had. Ze gaf niet aan dat we vast konden gaan zitten en nog even geduld moesten hebben, wat een stuk gastvrijer overkomt. Vervolgens vroegen we nogmaals of we vast konden gaan zitten en kwam de vraag of we hadden gereserveerd, waarop ons antwoord nee was. Hierop kwam de opmerking dat ze geen plaats meer hadden en liep ze naar binnen en deed de deur dicht!! Dit terwijl er nog ook voldoende tafels zonder "gereserveerd" bordje op het terras beschikbaar waren. Kortom een beetje vriendelijkheid en gastvrijheid was op zijn plaats geweest, ook al was er echt geen plaats beschikbaar geweest. Dit was ronduit onbeschoft!"

"Wer nach Bad Hersfeld kommt, sollte sich einen Besuch im Vaccastracca gönnen. Ich habe selten außerhalb Italiens so authentische und leckere Pasta gegessen. Sehr wenige Tische, freundlicher Service, angemessene Preise, ordentliche Weine, was will man mehr. Ach ja ich hatte das Glück, auch noch einen zufälligen netten Tischnachbarn und ein nettes Gespräch zu haben, ein richtig gelungenen Aufenthalt."

"one of the few places in bad hersfeld offers vegan options in their menu. most of the vegan foods are marked in the menu and special requests are accepted in the rule. I loved the spaghetti alio olio. some time ago there was also a vegan folk, so the personal knows what vegan means. it is a beautiful place to take their friends and family. the only thing I miss is a vegan lasagna and vegan wein."

"Wir waren nach der Festspielaufführung dort essen. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir mussten überhaupt nicht lange auf das Essen warten. Es gibt eine große Auswahl an asiatischen Gerichten. Wir haben Huhn, Ente und Fisch gegessen. Alles war sehr lecker und die Portionen mehr als ausreichend. Reis kann man nachbestellen soviel man möchte. Besonders zu erwähnen ist, dass das Gemüse frisch zubereitet wurde. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt ebenso. Fazit: rundum zu empfehlen."

"Wir bestellten als Vorspeise Bruscetta und danach eine Pizza. Der Kellner diskutierte mit uns, dass beides so viel Teig sei. Wir waren mehr als genervt. Bestanden aber auf unsere Bestellung. Das Bruscetta war lieblos angerichtet und zur Krönung fand man zusätzlich noch Plastikstreifen von einer Verpackung auf dem Teller. Wir monierten dies und erhielten darauf hin ein neues Bruscetta. Die Pizza war nicht überragend, aber man konnte sie essen."

"War heute mittag (19.März.2017)mit Freunden ( Geburtstagsfeier im kleinen Kreis) da. Leider muß ich sagen , daß ich mehr als positiv überrascht war. Der sehr sehr aufmerksame Service ( ruhig und jenseits von irgendeiner Hektik , was heutzutage schon eine Seltenheit ist ) . Wirklich toll ! Wohlfühlatmosphäre ! Danke nochmals. Die Auswahl an Speisen ist enorm und vielfältig .Kompliment auch dafür. Die servierten Speisen waren auch excellent. Und das Sortiment an Getränken ist auch sehr umfangreich. Und dann find ich da auch noch einen " Vernatsch " , den man hier im Umkreis von locker 50 km nirgends bekommt. Das machte den Sonntag perfekt. Werde das Lokal sicher wieder besuchen, und auch gerne weiter empfehlen."

"this restaurant is located in a small old medieval building that is modernized inside with white banquets along the walls and therefore look a bigger one than it is. we had an early dinner there and I had the jaeger carving, which is a booze with...Mushroom sauce. it was a great part and comes accompanied by apples and riders. the only sweet was a zucchini-Medley and I had this instead of the ubiquitous fries. an salate was also included. Otherwise, sweet is not in demand....We also tried kartoffellatschen as accompaniment and they were very good. eating was generally fat, but good. They seem to specialize on steaks (bef,) but since I can get them better in the usa, I did not try. it is old-fashioned German cookery. they also have many different types / brands of beer."

"I've been eating there three times. Two times from work and once private. The offer is limited to traditional dishes of beer gardens and brewhouses. There are carvings in different variants and other defensive dishes. The service is good as there is access to staff from the 4-star hotels. The ambience is also very appealing. Unfortunately, in summer the area in front of the brewhouse is very small. I give three stars here, because the relationship must always lead to the offer. There are no star kitchens here, but defensive food at acceptable prices. I like to test the carving in this category, because you can't do much wrong, but there are serious differences. The scavenger is fresh and the panade was airy loose. It is excellent for 10EUR and on the Schnitzeltag for 8 EUR. I've already eaten more expensive carvings that reminded me of my men's time (tens like shoe sole). The negative point here are the various sauces, which all tasted very equal. Otherwise, it is well suited to take a beer and a carving again in the evening."

"It wasn't that long ago that getting a good meal in a small German town was something of a challenge. Venison, yes, but often accompanied by overcooked vegetables and too-salty potatoes. Fortunately those days are gone. The Luisenhof is a wonderful establishment, with excellent tables inside and out. We were a party of ten, with varied demands (including vegetarian). No disappointments at all."
