It is difficult to get anything else than pork in the German restaurants,but I ate a turey salad .Quite nice

I just had a great rib eye steak, salad was ok, but not great. I would visit this place again ( and have the same!)

Excellent location on the old town. Beautiful historic building like a fairy tale. But inside atmosphere of fast food. Very slow service, average food. Big loss for the city and for all tourists.

Located in the center of Bad Hersfeld, this place serves delicious steaks - nicely seasoned and of delicious taste. Although I wouldn't recommend buying red wine, Merlot - drinking it left me with a bad taste. Better if you try something from beer menu! Service is very attentive.

Sportlereck is a traditional restaurant in the heart of Bad Hersfeld. It's as long as I can think in Bad Hersfeld. In recent years it has turned from a simple football pub into a restaurant and steakhouse. The service was very friendly. We met with several people there. With all of us, the food was very good. I had a turkey steak with potato columns and salad for 12.50 euros. The Cola costs 3.60 euros, the cappuccino 2.50 euros. The ambience is very beautiful. The restaurant is located in an old semi-concrete house. You see old wooden beams everywhere and everything looks very cozy. Cleanliness was good. The price-performance ratio is normal.

Das Sportlereck ist eine traditionelle Gaststätte mitten in Bad Hersfeld. Es besteht schon, so lange ich denken kann und gehört in Bad Hersfeld einfach dazu. In den letzten Jahren hat es sich von einer einfachen Fußball-Kneipe in ein Restaurant und Steakhaus verwandelt. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Wir haben uns mit mehreren Leuten dort getroffen. Bei uns allen war das Essen sehr gut. Ich hatte ein Putensteak mit Kartoffelspalten und Salat für 12,50 Euro. Die Cola kostete 3,60 Euro, der Cappuccino 2,50 Euro. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön. This restaurant is in a little old medieval building that is modernized inside with white banquettes along the walls and therefore makes a larger appearance than it is. We had an early supper there and I had the Jaegerschnitzel which is a pork cutlet with...mushroom sauce. It was a huge portion and comes accompanied by applesauce and fries. The only vegetable available was a a zucchini medley and I had that instead of the ubiquitous fries. A salad was also included. Otherwise vegetables are not in demand.......We also tried some potato latkes as an accompaniment and they were very good. Food was generally greasy but good. They apparently specialize in steaks beef but since I can get them bet...
