"Überraschung! Ich war zutiefst geschockt, als mein Risotto mit Champignons und geriebenem Käse ohne Champignons auftauchte und für meinen Geschmack etwas zu al dente war. Es war lecker, wurde aber in einer ultraflachen Form serviert, um zu gewährleisten, dass es in 15 Sekunden flach abkühlte. Ich hatte keine Pilze darin, obwohl auf der Speisekarte stand, dass es aus Carnroli-Reis (definitiv) und Pilzen (nicht einmal ein Hauch von Aroma) bestand. Ich hatte einen kleinen gemischten Salat vor dem Essen, als ich gewarnt wurde, dass das Risotto einige Zeit dauern wird. Kein Problem.Der Geschmack war sehr gut, der Service auch, Präsentation für die Preisklasse enttäuschend. Ich werde es leider niemandem empfehlen, da CHF 40. 00 ist etwas zu viel für risotto und salat, auch für den deutschen teil der schweiz."

"Passando in bici sul piano di magadino ci siamo accorti di questo posto per via della molta gente al suo interno.Ci siamo segnati il nome ed il giorno dopo abbiamo prenotato pensando che se c'era molta gente ci doveva essere un perché. ..Arrivati nel posto in questione ci ritroviamo davanti ad una grande terrazza coperta con molteplici tavoli ricavati da tronchi di legno.Scegliamo il menù che comprende una tartare di manzo, un'insalata a scelta , un rostbeef con patate novelle e verdure al vapore e per finire un dessert a scelta tra 6 (io ho scelto la crema catalana) il tutto per 49. !La mia considerazione personale del menù è ottima tutto molto buono e fresco e il prezzo non è esagerato per niente....Se guardiamo alla locazione invece considerando che nelle vicinanze c'è una strada cantonale abbastanza trafficata appena ci si siede al tavolo non si direbbe per niente.La vista da sul piano verdeggiante di magadino e la calma ti avvolge fin da subito!Il servizio è molto cordiale e se si vuole si può pure scambiare qualche parola con la gerente (molto simpatica).Per finire che posso dire....è da provare !! Io ci tornerò di sicuro..."

"Das Hotel trübte unsere sonst sehr guten Ferien leider erheblich. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmte einfach nicht. Die Zimmer waren sehr klein und nur unzufriedenstellend eingerichtet. Beispielsweise fehlte ein Kühlschrank oder eine kleine Snackbar. Das grosse Licht im Zimmer blendet wenn man im Bett sitzt. Die Spülung des Wcs hatte ihren eigenen Kopf und die Dusche war schlecht abgedichtet, so dass viel Wasser auslief, selbst bei einer kurzen Dusche. Die Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig und nur unzureichend belüftet. Deshalb muss man mit offenem Fenster schlafen, was nicht so schlimm wäre wenn nicht um 7 Uhr Mitarbeiter des Hotels direkt unter dem Fenster gefühlt hundert Glasflaschen zerschlagen müssten. In einer anderen Nacht wurden wir von rhythmischen Klopfen geweckt. Der Spabereich des Hotels ist sehr spartanisch. Es wird mit dem grossen Spabereich geworben. Erwartet hat uns dann einen kleine Sauna, ein Whirlpool der ausser Betrieb war sowie unsaubere Liegen und ein kleines Salzzimmer. Dafür für Auswärtige 20 Franken zu verlangen ist absolut wahnwitzig. Das Restaurant des Hauses war ok, nicht mehr aber glücklicherweise auch nicht weniger."

"Passing through Bellinzona by bike, we needed a good pizza to regain our strength after a whole morning of cycling. The sun was out and we sat on the terrace with a delicious temperature. The service was great, despite the crowd we were very well received and the food arrived very quickly. The pizzas were excellent and very generous. We were able to recharge the batteries and leave to finish a superb day on the bike"

Loads of available places and even though pretty often fully booked! Definitely among the good restaurants in Bellinzona's area."

"I’m strömenden Regen nahmen wir auf der hellen und freundlich gedeckten Terrasse Platz. Osso Bucco di Vitello mit Risotto und Spaghetti AOP waren unsere Wahl. Zusammen mit der Flasche Sinfonia erhielten wir Brot und für die Pasta bzw. den Risotto Reibkäse, welcher sich in der Konsistenz und im Geschmack vom handelsüblichen Grana Padano unterscheidet. Die frisch zubereiteten Spaghetti waren sehr schmackhaft und die Osso Bucco erstklassig. Der Risotto mit Weisswein frisch zubereitet blieb noch lange mit seinem Geschmack im Gaumen. Der stets aufmerksame Service rundete das kulinarische Erlebnis ab. Das hausgemachte Tiramisu kam luftig daher und der zum Espresso empfohlene Grappa Sinfonia rundete das Mittagessen ab. Das Croce Federal verfügt auch über eine gut abgestimmte Weinkarte mit unbekannten Tessinerperlen zu fairen Preisen. Mit den Espressotassen gelang nochmals eine Überraschung!"

"A pleasant surprise by chance. We went there with friends, at the suggestion of others. The place is run by a very kind and polite Sri Lankan family. The service is friendly, quick and efficient. The quality of the dishes is very good. Swiss German recipes, Rösti in all variations, really very good. But even just the pizza is good. There isn't much parking nearby but it is located a little further on. Price and quality are absolutely in line with expectations and not like the other restaurants in the area, which have lost contact with reality, charging a higher price for a dinner than a restaurant in Monte Carlo, but in a **** location. "It 's a nice place to be and take some drinks. The staff does a good job until you got your meal, then they are no longer interested in you and you have to try hard to order more drinks or what ever. For the food, i really like the meat and steaks i can recommend this. It was a 700g perfect medium-rare steak on the bone. For the burgers sadly i can 't say anything good. The buns are i think 2 weeks old no joke here It 's completely dried out and already hard on the edges. The burger is very low in taste and seasoning. I would call it completely boring and dry! So in total, if you go for some meat, you really will be happy. But avoid the burgers."
