"Passing through Bellinzona by bike, we needed a good pizza to regain our strength after a whole morning of cycling. The sun was out and we sat on the terrace with a delicious temperature. The service was great, despite the crowd we were very well received and the food arrived very quickly. The pizzas were excellent and very generous. We were able to recharge the batteries and leave to finish a superb day on the bike"

When reviewing the pizzeria Gamper, I just remembered this one which is just the opposite of Gamper with respect of welcome, food an value.

We ordered spinach ravioli and lampara pizza. The spinach ravioli was average, however, the pizza was really delicious! It was not too salty and lot of ruccola. The price wasn't too expensive either. Recommended!

Very pleasant and comfortable restaurant. The food is good and well presented. The service is excellent. This is not a gourmet restaurant but a good local spot appreciated by locals and visitors alike. Tables are well spaced apart, offering privacy.

Excellent menu for a short lunch in the middle of town - if you want to try some local Italian favorites don't miss out on La Lampara. We sampled the four cheese pizza which was flavorful and thin. Within easy reach via bus and close to both Coop and Migros.
