"We were pleased to find this place, and the food was great, the service warm and welcoming, with a decent wine list. But we won 't be back. Our starters mozzarella in carrozza, and sea scallops with pancetta, were superb, and portions were much larger than we 'd expected! We both had the 'special ' lemon sole, which was perfect. No space for desserts. We would 've stayed for coffee and grappas, but by that time, we 'd looked up the meaning of the word figa . I can 't give it, here you 'll have to look it up for yourselves. Just to say, there 's no pun, no witty wordplay; it 's simply a boorish and offensive term for part of a woman 's body. I 'd suggest a rebranding fast."

"Went here randomly and did not regret it. It was empty when we arrived but started filling up when we were in there. We were initially apprehensive but it did not disappoint. I had the garlic mushrooms to start and they are probably the best garlic mushrooms I have even had!!! Our server was lovely (her name escapes me! but Ronnie, the manager, is a top guy. These guys deserve every success. Highly recommended."

"My husband and I visited last night,a very warm welcome as soon as we entered the restaurant, lovely busy atmosphere too. We shared the Antipasti which was generous. I had a delicious ceaser salad and my husband had chilli pasta which was also scrumptious! Only a little room left to share a pudding. We didn’t feel rushed at all which was nice . The price was good considering what we have spent in other eateries whilst away and this meal was by far the best ! Would definitely go back and happy to recommend to friends and family."

However, this time the owner informed us that the restaurant was undergoing renovations and our reservation was transferred to his other restaurant, Italian Steak House in Windsor. Unfortunately, the food was just okay, as my carbonara, which I ordered without cream, came with cream. The tiramisu, described as homemade, was more like a cake with too much chocolate sauce and lacking in flavor. The servers were nice, but overall I left feeling disappointed. While we did receive a 50% discount on the carbonara, it would have been better to receive the correct order. I really wanted to like this restaurant, but I am unsure if I would return."

However, we were informed that the restaurant had been renovated and our booking for the Italian steakhouse was transferred to their other location in Windsor. The food was average, and my carbonara order without cream was served with cream. The homemade tiramisu resembled more of a cake, was drowned in chocolate sauce, and lacked flavor. The staff were friendly, but overall, I left feeling disappointed. We were given a 50% discount for the incorrect carbonara, but it would have been better to receive the correct dish. While I had hoped to enjoy Viva L'Italia, I am unsure if I will return in the future."

"Greeted by the friendly owner Andrea and seated at a comfy table at the far end. The other tables had metal seats which did not look comfortable. The range of food was good with lots of flexibility and suggestions. We had pasta and pizza both good but the calzone was a little doughy. The steak was very good and puds were tasty. House red was palatable and we were treated to a complimentary digestivo. We had a good evening and our overall bill for 4 including drinks and coffee was £84."

"On the day we booked and went to the restaurant I checked the website which gave three vegan pizza options. Once there we discovered those options were not on the menu, We were told that the website isn't up to date: and it still isn't, I've checked again today. There was no real apology and no offer to make up for this by providing extra vegetable toppings, which would have been good customer relations. I ended up paying £16.00 for a pizza topped with just tomato and mushroom. To make matters worse my pizza and that of my friend were cold and soggy. In fairness, our other companion had the tagliatelle salmone which he enjoyed. Often eat in Primrose Hill but won't be going here again."

"tonight bella e buona has ordered a take-out for the first time. my wife and I were after a more authentic Italian experience for our pizzas when we in the rule of the great name almost food places in the opposite. we were not disappointed. I had the bella e buona calzone and my wife had the napolitana pizza. the pizzas were delicious! they tasted great, as they were freshly made with real pizza dough and fired in a real pizza oven. the focaccia we ordered as a starter was just as good. prices comparable to other pizzerias, but the pizzas are just a slice of what they get elsewhere. highly recommended!"

"Chelsea Rd Deli came under new management in January. It is now run by Giuseppe, with the excellent Kerry still there to assist. The atmosphere, standard of service and range of food available immediately improved. Then came the lockdown, Giuseppe quickly adapted to a takeaway...service, and the deli has gone from strength to strength. In this hot weather iced lattes are excellent, but he does a fine cuppa too. Filled baguettes are mouth watering and made to order. There are some lovely Italian delicacies and food to eat in is fresh and well presented. Hygiene rules are well maintained, and service is friendly and welcoming. And all this when Giuseppe is just 19 years old. He is a fine young man who works extremely hard. I hope everyone will continue to support him in the future. Christine Sivyour."
