"Good morning, I have been walking through the door of the Casa del Popolo for over 40 years. I am a bus driver and one evening, having a 45 minute break, I wanted to have dinner, I had to leave because there was no room in the room even though there were all the free tables on the right but they are no longer served for eating only for the bar. Only in your place does it happen to send people away with free tables, and then are you social??? Do you integrate and send away people who want to eat? Socialists, if I had the intention of giving you some votes in the next cantonal elections, IT WOULD NOT BE THE CASE TO GIVE IT TO YOU. I am very disappointed."

I have eaten the beef with fries and salat, which was optimal for the pupil evening. it was appealing, was served very quickly and tasted well. the service was perfect and the location is very central directly at the railway station.

I'm not a frustration reviewer, what I experienced here at Casa del Popolo is the last straw: when a guest comes in, there are the white covered tables on the left, and on the right there is the more comfortable bistro style area with cozy, uncovered wooden tables. In the latter area we ordered something to drink and the menu. Nothing there, we were told when we wanted to place the order (yes, at least we received a menu... we only dined in the white covered area. They referred to an order “from the very top”, which made us wonder how high up……and left the restaurant in protest! Why not make something of this pleasant looking restaurant since HOST!
