"The good thing is it was open on a Monday when many Swiss restaurants take the day off. But the service left much to be desired by the chief waitress. We asked for food but were told they only had some salty mix which she brought a cup of per person. Swiss kitchens usually close after lunch is over, from about 2:30-6pm,so we weren't surprised. We will probably give this restaurant another chance since the location is great, right on the lake. Maybe she had had a bad day. The inside area looked a bit cafeteria-like though."

"Wir wählten diese Woche diese Location um unseren Jahrestag zu feiern, für ein Abendessen zu zweit.Angekommen, muss man zugeben dass die Location in Mitten der Weinreben wunderschön ist. Alles schön idyllisch und doch unkompliziert. Wir bekamen einen Sitzplatz auf der Terrasse und gleich zu Beginn ein tolles Aperitif vom Kellner Alberto serviert. Er empfahl einen Weißwein, dieser war wirklich super lecker (fruchtig frisch) vom Winzer vor Ort. Das war aber auch schon alles, danach kam es einfach nur noch enttäuschend. Wir entschieden uns für das 3 Gang pro Person für je 59. CHF und einen Merlot für knapp 50. CHFAls Starter gab es jeweils ein Teller mit Rohschinken und Grillgemüse, welches sicherlich nicht vor Ort aus eigener Küche stamm. Als Hauptspeise bekam mein Partner eine gigantische Portion überkochtes Safran Risotto mit zerkochter Tessiner Wurststückchen, einfach nur ungenießbar zubereitet. Es schien als hätte man das Risotto Stunden zuvor zubereitet mit Geschmacksverstärker.Ich bekam mehlige zerplatzte Pellkartoffeln, Tiefkühlkarotten mit Knoblaucharoma und scheinbar ein Rindsbraten an Champignon Soße und nicht Mischpilz, wie es laut Speisekarte hieß. Ich bin bis zum Schluss nicht einig was die Herkunft des Fleisches betrifft. Das Fleisch konnte genauso ein unschönes Schweinenackenstück sein, voller Sehnen, ja komischerweise auch mit Fettpolster. Es wurde in der Soße serviert, daher zusätzlich sehr verwirrend.Wir haben die Teller nach 4 Minuten bei Seite gestellt. Voller Scham wussten wir nicht wie reagieren und haben dann doch auf die Nachfrage des netten Kellners zugegeben, dass diese Mahlzeiten ungenießbar seien. Sie konnten sich nicht erklären warum wir das behaupteten, schließlich würden wir sehen, dass die Menschen auf der Terrasse essen würden, hieß es.Bei genauerer Hinsicht sah man, dass Pärchen nicht aufsaßen und andere Menschen nur zum Wein trinken und Apero kamen. Sie rechtfertigten sich damit, dass der Koch schließlich hier seit 12 Jahren kochen würde und alles doch tip top sei. Darauf hin musste ich erwidern, dass das wohl nicht wahr sein kann, was für ein Desaster 12 Jahre!Mein Partner ließ das Desert aus und die von mir bestellte Käseplatte zum Nachtisch war steinhart und vertrocknet. Das Besteck half da auch nicht besonders viel. Fazit 190. CHF für eine miese Küche, das Preisniveau viel zu hoch. Auf den Frust bestellten wir jeweils 2 Grappa und nur eine Runde wurde offeriert als Wiedergutmachung.Während des Abend versuchte der Kellner uns trotzdem noch Weine und Spirituosen für den Verkauf schmackhaft zu machen und die Hauseigene Location für eine eventuelle Hochzeit. Während der Pächter sich mit Zigarre am Eingang vergnügt hat und uns zu Zeiten Coronas die Hände schütteln wollte beim Rauslaufen, als einzigste Entschuldigung.Ich empfehle es keiner Person, welche von Haus aus gut kochen kann oder eine gewisse Ahnung von frischen und qualitativen Lebensmitteln hat."
