"We went to celebrate a birthday/dinner at El Rancho on a Saturday evening (with a reservation). Unfortunately, when we arrived we discovered that our table (for 12 people) had been set up in an L-shape. I found this a great shame, but I could have overlooked it if the rest had been right. Our order was only taken once at our table the entire evening. If we wanted drinks or anything else afterwards, we literally had to force the waiter on us, even though there was always one or more on our floor. But even then they only barely took the order from the person who called. In general, the waiting times were also very long, we waited around 30 minutes for the bill. On the positive side, the food was really good. But unfortunately that was just a drop in the ocean. I will definitely not go there again in such a situation."

"Waren mit der Familie das erste Mal über Mittag hier. Freundlicher Service, tolle Karte. Qualität war sehr gut und geschmacklich top! Leider mussten wir uns im Bistroteil platzieren und der ist echt hässlich und in die Jahre gekommen. Am Abend sitzt man im Rondel und dort sieht es einladender aus. Wie wir gelesen haben, soll dieses Restaurant geschlossen werden, somit verstehen wir auch den veralteten Bistrocharme. Die Investition kann man sich somit sparen. Alles Gute für das Team und den Chef für alles weitere...."

"On Monday we had lunch at the Schützenhaus restaurant in Stäfa. It is a small, cute, historic house located directly on the lake and is run by the fourth generation as a traditional restaurant. We were warmly welcomed and immediately felt at home in the cozy restaurant. Whenever we dine near the lake, we always choose local fish. So my wife ordered the fist fish and I ordered the perch fillets meunière. We were both given a 'small ' mixed salad beforehand. We had a great lunch here, in this very well-kept house and the lovingly decorated restaurant, with very tasty food and great service. The portions were very generous. After the main course we were full, so full that we unfortunately didn 't want to order any more dessert. We 'll do better next time!"

They have awesome sweet sour chicken,(I wish they would sauté the onion and peppers in the sauce. battered fried fish, curries, fried duck, chicken sate, panco fried shrimp. You get more food if you get a plate instead of a to go box. You can get a box for any leftovers. I love the free green teas they offer. They have cold or hot sweetened or unsweetened Free tea. "A random review on the map read 'best kebab ' or something along those lines. I thought yeah, tell me about that , but still went there to take a looksie. Man was it worth it! These people deal in actual real meat, not the grey zombie scabs that you see being shaved with a machine off one big grey piece of something that comes as one piece wrapped in tons of plastic, as seen in most 'kebab ' places. Moreover, they have real kebab, i.d. meatballs of mince shaped around a skewer, and even more actual lamb meat ons skewers as in 'shashlik '! Imagine your dürüm with that.. "The route took me to Farel for a coffee and unfortunately I left all too quickly. The coffee made with oat milk at no extra charge was delicious and could have been complemented by a vegan snack from the display case. The staff at the counter were friendly and bilingual, and the menu was pleasantly manageable. Unfortunately it was too loud/noisy inside for me the music was set a little too loud and the many flies almost drove me crazy. Because the beautiful ! inner courtyard was full, I soon left the restaurant."

"Das Ambiente und der Service sind freundlich und es gibt eine große Auswahl an Tee. Die Qualität der Speisen und Getränke selbst könnte jedoch verbessert werden, um dem Preis zu entsprechen. Der Tee, den ich hatte, war schön präsentiert, aber geschmacklos und wässrig, auch nach 5 Minuten Einweichen. Die Suppe zum Mittagessen war eine Instant-Suppe, nicht hausgemacht und das Mittagessen war vegetarisch, aber die Portion auf der kleinen Seite mit wenig tiefgefrorenem Gemüse und einer nicht inspirierenden Curry-Sauce. Der Basmatireis war jedoch gut gekocht. Das Stück Karottenkuchen, das ich für die Wüste hatte, war nicht im Preis der Speisekarte enthalten und war ziemlich teuer, hatte aber einen guten Geschmack und war feucht (das einzige hausgemachte Essen, das ich vermute). Alles in allem eine der wenigen vegetarischen Optionen in Biel Bienne, aber erwarten Sie keine frisch zubereitete Mahlzeit."

"Das Essen war gut, da gibt es eigentlich nichts zu bemängeln. Jedoch liess das Service zu wünschen übrig. Wir wurden von zwei Damen bedient und obwohl sie beide nett waren, verhielt sich die eine (wahrscheinlich die Chefin) für den Preis, den man bezahlt, ein wenig unprofessionell, weshalb ich einen Stern abziehe. Unter anderem trug sie keine Maske (drinnen) aber kam trotzdem ziemlich nahe an die Kunden heran. Aber naja, es ist was es ist. Hauptsache das Essen war lecker."

Sie hatte Sachen vergessen zu Verrechnen, danach konnte wusste Sie nicht mehr wer schon was bezahlt hatte.Die Rechnung wurde dann ca 3 mal falsch zusammen gerechnet, wir waren ca noch 15 Minuten dort nur um die Rechnung richtig begleichen zu können.Wir haben dann alles selber ausgerechnet um die Rechnung korrekt begleichen zu können.Ich habe kein Problem damit wenn jemand kein Deutsch oder kein Französisch spricht aber eines von beidem sollte ZWINGEND in der Schweiz vorhanden sein."

"Typische Hotelatmosphäre, aber interessante Speisekarte mit Klassikern wie Tournedo Rossini oder Beefsteak Tartare. Schade, dass gewisse, auf der Karte aufgeführten Vorspeisen nicht bestellbar sind, ist mir zweimal mit den Makrelen passiert. Ansonsten ist die Qualität der Speisen tadellos, das Tournedos war wirklich spektakulär. Bei den Getränken hatte es leider auch schon zum zweiten Mal zuwenig Kohlensäure im Mineralwasser. Die Bedienung, im Allgemeinen sehr aufmerksam und kompetent, ersetzte mir dies ohne Probleme. Zum Mittagessen angenehm, da die Tische nicht zu gedrängt plaziert sind und der Service zügig vonstatten geht."

"Seit geraumer Zeit haben wir es wieder mal gewagt das Centri Espagnol zu besuchen. Die Lokälität ist nicht gerade das Gelbe vom Ei, die Bedienung nicht vom Fach aber sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Hauswein, Minerlwasser, Salat, Paella mit Supplement, Dessert und Espresse für sagenhafte 20 Franken! Nebst dem guten Preis war das die Paella auch sehr lecker und das Dessert Top. Diese Aktion gilt jeweils am letzten Freitag des Monats! Es war garantiert nicht unser letzter Besuch"
