"zen noodle bar in the heart of chelmsford city has a relaxed atmosphere in a restaurant that is clean and elegant. the personal was friendly and welcoming, and there was a busy trade through the door, considering that it was lunch and drizzly. the restaurant runs a good lunch break with two dresses for £9.95 I was in many restaurants before these offers offer and most of the time the deal is restriktiw or the portion sizes are small not here. despite the reasonable price, I found the teller sizes to be what I would consider a full size meal. I ordered the following two meal times: Starter/Sideteller shredded chili huhn the coating is clean and crisp with a mix of seasoned that are delicious. the portion size is generous and tasty as if it was boiled from ground. all ingredients were fresh and with a nice selection of red and green chillies I found the presentation pleasant to be on the eye and satisfied that chili-kick I was believed. main dish thai green curry the rice was very good, tender and soft and fluffy and dry. the soße was tasteful with flavors, but not exaggerated, so a taste experience as everyone jumps over the taste buds. the chicken was fresh and not frozen or reformed huh. it leaves a delicious aftertaste and a satisfying taste. overall I can recommend the restaurant very much. the venue is a good size for each party, and the menu seems to scan everything with a decent and varied selection of dresses too expensive."

"I was gifted an afternoon tea with a glass of prosecco, through Groupon as a xmas gift for four. We booked for Sunday 16th Feb . Unfortunately only three of us could make it. Weather was awful outside, storms rain, but on entering the Bay Horse we were welcomed into a traditional pub with a modern decor. Above all it was very clean, well decorated and nice and warm. We were immediately greeted by a very friendly young lady, offered a hot drink seated by the window. A selection of teas were offered she was patient while we decided. Tea was very good quality Earl Grey Green tea served piping hot in cups saucers . We were then offered a good choice of a selection of sandwiches, we had prawn, beef horseradish cheese tomato, were offered a choice of bread. The sandwiches were obviously freshly prepared very plentiful. Served on a wooden board in triangles ;nicely decorated. The prawns were wonderful the sandwiches were very generously filled. The beef was soft and very tasty. We were also offered a pot of tea more hot drinks. After finishing we were brought the cakes on a tiered china metal stand. WOW, a large warm scone each , with a generous separate portion of clotted cream tasty jam, chocolate brownie, fruit cake which was moist ;packed with fruit, and a wonderful light lemon drizzle cake. The portions were perfect, in fact generous, but we had saved ourselves all day for this! Everything was fresh and tasty and well presented. We have all had afternoon tea in various cafes and establishments. ...but, this was by far the absolute best. Exactly what an afternoon tea experience should be. The prosecco was chilled of good quality with a generous glass full, not like some places where it's barely over half a glass. On a side note, we were also very pleased to use such clean toilet facilities, always a bonus. I hope that the owners don't change a single thing as their presentation of afternoon tea cannot be faulted. We spent just over two and a half hours catching up felt no pressure to rush. All staff friendly and polite too. Can't wait to return. Thank you very much."

"I wouldn’t come here again.. As my first time in Danbury, there wasn’t much options of places to eat. I’d walked in here in hope of having something for brunch, and seeing it attached and working aside the deli, expected decent dishes. The place looked run down. I’m assuming it was suppose to be a vintage style tea room, but it needs a deep clean, some redecorating, love and attention. Don’t get me wrong, the Lady was friendly who served me, but she was either busy doing something on her computer or round the back in the kitchen, having a conversation with another member of staff, loud enough for the few customers in the front to hear, about someone who was asking general questions about the place and probably wasn’t satisfied either. I was close to just walking out without paying, but had the decency to pop my head round and ask to pay. So attention to customers is needed, checking to see if they need anything. I had eggs Benedict and a mocha. I wouldn’t say the meal was worth 8.95. The eggs looked sad. Taste wise, it was okay but it wasn’t wow. The presentation could of been much better, and again, not sure if it’s suppose to be vintage related, but just plain white plates would have been better. I know it was miserable outside which didn’t help, but the lighting and brightness was dark. Cobwebs and rested dust on lights, overhead fan, windowsills and other places. Floor needed a good sweep and tables needed cleaning. It wasn’t exactly busy so one of the ladies could have swept and cleaned the tables as soon as people left. Most of the chairs were stained, the wallpaper shows wear and tear, and the bathroom tiling looked unpleasant. Toilet sign needed and lock on the bathroom cupboard, as bleach was hanging out. Deep clean and air freshener needed."
