"Me and three friends visited on Saturday night and from start to finish the service was amazing. We had actually only booked for two but although we turned up early with an extra two people the manager and a couple of other members of staff moved heaven and earth to make sure they could accommodate us. Our drinks orders were taken and delivered promptly, our salad maker Megan was very helpful and the food was hot and delicious. Considering how busy they were (it being a Saturday night) I would’ve settled for a lot less but the service and food was second to none. We can’t wait to come back!"

my favorite restaurant in chelmsford, can not get enough of the steak apple and blackberry crumbs. family friendly and the staff (especially the assistent nathan) are so polite and patient. will definitely go back!

Today was the most beautiful day of the year so far, and it was a great feeling to enjoy lunch outside, even though the pub garden is not the most impressive. The food at this restaurant is tasty and reasonably priced.

Go more often now you can book table even at the last minute so you know there won't be a long wait. Food freshly cooked to order and like free salad and roll and butter. Waitress very accommodating and can swap items on set menu Very convenient for local meal although prices have been creeping up lately. Fish and chips can be bought cheaper during the day at other local restaurants
