"The restaurant has a super nice quiet location outside Darmstadt. There are enough parking spaces for guests. The inner and outer areas make a pleasant impression. The selection of the card is extensive and offers a variety of dishes and drinks. Price performance is good. The service is competent, professional and friendly. The food is lovingly prepared and tastes fantastic, personally I found the burgers very good."

"was a great night. eating is phenomenal every time. regional cuisine, prepared with much love. Grohe beer unbeatable. the servant waiter had probably caught a bad day. grumpy is still nice. we have already been able to experience better on site. but we didn't let the laune spoil us, and the delicious food made it more than wet. so I can only recommend the restaurant at the very best. who likes to eat good should have been in the bockshaut at least once and then that was probably not the last time."

"The idea is indeed fantastic - fresh hamburgers for every taste, from meat lovers to vegans, with all possible combinations (sweet fried onions, Champignons, avocado...you name it). And indeed, that is what you get served...if you are lucky. Ordered 2 identical cheeseburgers, without pickles but with onions and one came with pickles and onions and the other without anything. The special Jamy burger with avocado, champignons and sweet onions came with everything ordered, but the temperature of the ingredients differed a lot (meat: very hot, just right, rest: between warm and just cold). The fries were an exception, as they were hot as they are supposed to be, and the sauces served (incl. the "homemade" sauce) just great. Overall the taste was really good compared to other non-McDonald-hamburgers served in Darmstadt really good...but the others manage to serve the food at the right temperature...Some people complain about the price - I don't: 30 Euros for 3 people would be ok IF you would get what you order at the correct temperature...Service: non existent as you order at the cashier and pick up your stuff at the counter. A really bad thing: they only accept cash - no credit, debit or any other cards...really?!?!"

"The restaurant is located in a slightly off location, the interior is unassuming. The place specializes in fish and seafood, they also run a fish shop nearby. The specialization pays off: this is, bar a large margin, the best fish and seafood I have eaten in Darmstadt. The owner is friendly and recommended that we (three people) order two tapas sets and he would make sure they contain lots of fish (which is what we wanted). He could have easily made more money if we had ordered a main dish each, so hats off! We got 12 different tapas, most with fantastically fresh seafood and grilled fish. Bread and olives are included for no extra. The cooking was straightforward (mostly grilled or simple sauces), but capable and nothing was dry or chewy. We drank a bottle of good Albarino that was also fairly priced. A free coffee or digestive was offered after the meal. This place is a hidden gem and despite the off location it is a good idea to book, because many happy regulars return there often. Next time I will try a paella which also looks delicious."

"Is really great, but lately it makes it strong after appetizers are no longer so beautifully directed only a baptismal service forces have changed the one man gets it not so on the row orders forgotten or the wrong. Very bad was very happy to eat there with my family, hope it will find old form again. At least 1x the week there. So the last 3 week catastrophe is perhaps just overwhelmed by the ramadam. "It's asparagus season and Vapiano has some asparagus dishes. After trying out the "duetto de asparagi" a couple of weeks ago, I declared it as my new favorite when eating at Vapiano. However, depending on the guy preparing your meal you get pimpeltest different dishes...it is supposed to be spinach with the salad dressing of your choice, a white asparagus mousse and green asparagus with tomato sugo on top...your would think that is not a complicated dish to prepare? Wrong! The first time it was done right ("cook 1"). The second and third time the "cook" (2 and 3) did not find the mousse despite the ready portion sitting just to the right by the bread.... The fourth time the "cook (4)" put only one green asparagus on my plate and radicchio in my salad (despite me telling him I did not want any). And today? Well, cook 5 stated to mix the salad with...tomato sugo...seriously?????I would give this place 0 points because of the service...but ok, the food is quite good (3-4)...Vapiano, you need to do something about the training of your staff..."

"Premise: we went there for dinner, so my comments do not apply to the drinks' area.First of all, it's not really a mexican restaurant. I guess they call it like this just for marketing purposes because otherwise it's just a US-style fast food. I have nothing against a good hamburger once in a while, but it has at least to be decent. I ordered a double burger but what I got was very disappointing. The burger meat was as good as the frozen stuff you can buy in discount supermarkets at 1 euro per box., with the difference that this one was around 18 euros on their menu. Even the french fries were bad, which is quite an achievement! My wife had a dish of fried stuff which was barely acceptable.The waiters were quite friendly but also inexperienced.I would not be complaining so much if this place were at least cheap, but it is not. Our bill (2 people, 1 course each plus a soft drink) came out at 38 euros. I could eat much better (and faster) at Mcdonalds for less that 10 euros.The only positive thing I can mention about this place is the exit.."

"Das Scoozi am Marktplatz in Darmstadt finde ich wirklich gut. Die Pizza ist hervorragend, die Monatskarte bietet immer wieder echte Perlen, der Service ist zuvorkommend und schnell. "We ate there today, everything was good and the food was delicious. However, the waitress/waiter was very confused or seemed very confused! Overwhelmed I have no idea what the best way to call it is! The fact is, I had ordered a portion of fried rice with chicken to take away and asked the lady with long brown hair if I could get extra hot sauce packed with it. Then yes it goes. "I thought it was nice. The food was delicious, but could be more diverse. Prices could be a little lower. You can kind of sit outside, but then you'd be squeezed in, so we stayed inside. It was a bit like a pub. The pub is also in the back, and the façade is a little strange, you don't think what you're expecting. Overall it was: Good."

"Wir waren jetzt schon zweimal hier und es war Super lecker. Der Krautsalat ist sehr üppig und ich finde es Klasse das das Besteck, Mayo, Ketchup und Pfeffer/Salz auf dem Tisch griffbereit stehen! Die Bedienung ist freundlich und die Location ist sehr gemütlich. Was mich nur wundert das das eine mal die Pommes Separat und reichlich kommen und das nächste mal in kleiner Menge mit auf dem Teller.Hunde sind hier auch willkommen, wir hatten zwar keinen dabei aber ich fand es sehr positiv das es erlaub ist."

Only slight drawback, the outside seating in summer is not the nicest spot to sit, being overlooked by apartments.Try it, you won't be disappointed. "The services are super friendly and really very warm to all guests. The atmosphere is very family although we were there for the first time. The staff is very funny and also speaks Italian what makes the whole really authentic. The carving with spaghetti was great. The sauce is very well seasoned. A clear recommendation as a dessert is the Tiramisu! Guaranteed even made and just super tasty. We were here for the first time and are guaranteed to come here many times. "OK - there's only so much sauerkraut and sausage you can take before you start hankering after something different. As I love gourmet burgers and we were starving and cold from long boat-ride we opted for Jamy's. Menu here is small - but I don't mind that - do fewer dishes but do them really well... in this case it was a bit disappointing. Although, the chicken burger was nice and juicy, they got my order wrong and it took absolutely ages to arrrive. The sweet potato fries however, were a revelation! The burger with avocado was mushy and messy - best avoid if on a date or in polite company... but the patties were delicious. Weirdly, yet another food vendor in a major city that didn't take credit cards! Is this a thing in Germany I wonder???"

"Wir kamen eine halbe Stunde vor der Mittagspause...man versicherte uns aber, dass wir in Ruhe essen könnten, wenn wir uns schnell entscheiden würden. Gesagt, getan. Und tatsächlich...Getränke kamen sehr schnell (obwohl viele Tische besetzt waren), Essen auch relativ zügig am Tisch. Ich würde meinem Gericht (gegrillte Lammkottelets mit Bratkartoffeln und gegrilltem Gemüse) eine 1,5 bis 2 geben (Schulnote). Geschack: toll! Gargrad: leider bei den 6 Fleischstücken sehr unterschiedlich (2 komplett durch, 2 perfekt rosa, 2 dazwischen), gleiches gilt für die Fleischqualität: 2 Kotteletts waren mega fettig, die anderen genial. Gemüse: top! Nicht totgegrillt oder ähnliches! Kartoffeln gleiches Urteil. Der Pinot Grigio für knapp 5 Euro...okay, mehr aber auch nicht. Freundlichkeit beim Service sehr vom Kellner abhängig, einer unfreundlich (zumindest zu uns, am Nachbartisch mit Stammgästen sah das schon anders aus...), die anderen beiden sehr freundlich. Der Unfreundliche könnte potenziell auch der Chef gewesen sein, zumindest deutetet dein Gehabe darauf hin...falls nicht Chef, bitte austauschen ;-)Kurzfazit: wir waren das zweite Mal da, beides Mal vom Essen sehr angetan, beim ersten Mal auch vom Wein. Bei der Freundlichkeit kann man punktuell noch zulegen. Würde wiederkommen."
