The food here is very Moroccan, definitely try the couscous.. Friday nights they have a buffet which is also really nice and not expensive. The mint tea is a must.

we were 2x there and took the vegan tajin with topping. after that we baked to take away. beautiful, huge selection, handmade by the oma or tante. (I don't remember it exactly)

I tried the open buffet , I think it is only in the weekend, it was really delicious (but heavy somehow). It is really recommended if you want to try different Moroccan food at the same time.

There are lot of options for vegetarians to choose from and they are very tasty. The waiters are very polite and service is very good.However we need to plan for more time, as everything takes a long time. We get our patience tested and get rewarded with good food. :-)

This is by far the most authentic moroccan place in the whole of the region. From starters to couscous meals to the sweet temptation of pastry, this place has it all to offer. Service is excellent and the place is fully family-owned and managed. While wandering around the charming area of Darmstadt, we came upon this restaurant and decided to give it a try. The food was superb. The "royal" sauce on the couscous added something special to a favorite dish. the atmosphere is friendly and inviting . Our waiter was so delighted that we enjoyed our meal that he insisted that we meet the chef-his mom ! A very sweet evening. Did I mention the baklava? Thank you again for such a lovely time !

I didn't really like the restaurant. I was there once and wouldn't come back again. The interior of the restaurant is very simple, and tables are small and placed very tight. As a starter, I had a plate with selection of different starter choices. I was surprised to find potato salad and sauerkraut, typical German food, among other starters on this plate. Why would it be served in traditional Maroccanian restaurant? Other starters didn't impress me either - they just didn't taste to me. As a main corse, I had Lam Tajine. Hidden away in a residential area, this is a little gem of a place, tastefully and warmly decorated with numerous pretty moroccan lamps and artefacts. Being a family-run business, we were served by the friendly son, who also speaks excellent English.We had an excellent white bean soup with spinach, and then two traditional moroccan main dishes, with couscous.
