"The staff were very welcoming, polite and friendly; the environment, clean and inviting. We were shown to our table and given the menus, after having been served drinks.I chose the roast beef (well it was a Sunday , my wife had the Texan Chicken.My plate, when it came, was full of very tasty and well cooked meat and veg. The vegetables were cooked to perfection, lots of bite left, and well seasoned. The spuds (deep fried, I think, not roasted were also nicely cooked and flavoursome.The beef, was plentiful, beautifully tender, and also very tasty.My wife was equally impressed with her Texan Chicken, (and she liked my Cauliflower cheese she finished mine off! .I couldn't eat anymore.in truth, I couldn't finish what I'd been served, there was so much. My wife had a chocolate fudge cake, with ice cream, equally enjoyable!As the lunch went on the large room we were seated in slowly filled up, showing it's popularity a very well deserved popularity! And it's very reasonably priced too."
